Over-priced. Lousy. Avoid. Questionable work ethic. Stay away!!!

My car was making a sound. I had run over something and thought that I had damaged something under my car. When I took my car in, Steve told me that a bolt had sheared and there was a piece of it lodged somewhere under my car which was making the noise. It was a $6 screw and he charged me $135 for labor!!! Are you kidding me? To replace a bolt?

It had been recommended for me to come here, and I will NEVER return to this swindler. I had taken my car to him for a few repairs in the past, but each time, I left his shop wondering if I was being overcharged or taken advantaged of. Finally, I got my answer when I was charged $141 for a bolt that cost $5.80. This guy has a real racket going on here where he claims to use "high end / high performance parts", but the reality is -- they aren't. (I've since had to re-replace those high performance parts that he claimed would last longer than the regular parts that I would get at Pep Boys, Firestone, or anywhere else. He just overcharges his customers and doesn't tell the truth about the quality of the parts that he is using.

Since then, I have told my friends to avoid this place like the plague. He has lost a lot of business. I am still considering reporting this swindler to the Better Business Bureau and/or the local Chamber of Commerce. Avoid at all costs!!!
