Tagged Inc. d/b/a Tagged.com Reviews

Wallace Nolen - VT June 13, 2011
Tagged is nothing but a fraud and the owner/managers ought to be locked up in prison for life!
This company and its founder/CEO ought to spend the rest of his life in prison for fraud, misrepresentation, and a whole assortment of charges. The San Francisco DA, the Texas and New York attorney general, the Federal Trade Commission and other law enforcement agencies have found him guilty of everything from aiding and abetting child pornography, spamming, and fraud!

I completed or tried to complete more than 150 offers to get "GOLD" to play their game of PETS, but they only awarded a few. When I complained they "threw me a bone" of a few thousand points and then the next day locked me out so that I could not "earn" any more "GOLD". When I completed almost every off I was inundated with spam from non-related businesses.

When I spoke to Darla McArthur, the company customer service manager [email protected] [email protected] she blamed other companies including radiumone.com that has an office at the same address and is yet another "shell company" set up by the founder and other officers of taggedcom.

I am organizing a group of victims of this company with the intent of finding an attorney to represent the class of victims to either get them to comply with all of the terms of their "promotions" or alternatively to put them out of business PERMANENTLY!

"Greg Tseng was the Founder and CEO of Jumpstart Technologies, who entered into a consent decree
with the Federal Trade Commission on March 21, 2006. The FTC alleged that Jumpstart violated the
law by disguising its commercial emails as personal messages, and by misleading consumers as to the
terms and conditions of the promotions. Jumpstart paid a civil penalty to the FTC in the amount
$900, 000 for violating the CAN-SPAM Act."

"On April 12, 2010 The San Francisco District Attorney's Office entered into a settlement with Tagged.com."

"Without any admission of wrong doing, Tagged, Inc. will pay $650, 000 in civil penalties and investigative
costs to the San Francisco District Attorney's Office. The settlement also includes an injunction requiring
Tagged.com to implement a system of clear disclosures, informed consent and other safeguards to protect
both Tagged.com members and the general public from unfair business practices."

"In addition to ordering Tagged.com to pay $650, 000 in penalties and costs, the Stipulated Judgment and
Injunction requires Tagged.com to implement a set of safeguards for future business practices. Under the
injunction, before Tagged.com may access a consumer's email contact list, Tagged.com must also
implement procedures for a consumer to view and approve any message before it is sent in the consumer's
name to individuals in the consumer's email contact list."

"On November 9, 2009 the New York Attorney Generals Office entered into an agreement with Tagged.com.
This agreement applies to business conducted in the state of New York."

'Without any admission of wrong doing the agreement requires Tagged to adopt a series of stringent
reforms designed to set an industry standard for how social networking sites send out invitation emails. Tagged
must provide clear and conspicuous disclosures when asking for access to a new user's email contacts and will
no longer access those contacts or send messages on behalf of a Tagged member without that persons informed
permission. Before sending out email invitations, the company must also verify the emails with new members to
make sure they do not inadvertently invite everyone on their contact list."

"Through the agreement the company must pay $500, 000 in penalties and costs to the state of New York
and adopt industry leading measures regarding the access and use of its members' personal information."
