I recently booked a return trip from Durban to Johannesburg and i was very dissapointed at the lack of assistance i did not recieve especially after it was offered to me. I have two very young children (ages two and four) and I had my hands full with trying to carry hand luggage all the while trying to get my kids on board safely and finding our bearings. Our return trip was even more frustrating because the meal you served on your airline was a packet of nuts and dried fruit which is not sustainable for toddlers at all. A variety of different kinds of beverages and alcohol are offered but not meals. I expected something more for my toddlers. I did verify that i had two small children accompanying me when i booked our tickets but to no avail. We flew out at their dinner time and they were impossible because they were hungry. If I knew that is what would be offered i would have purchased dinner before embarking on our flight. I was really angry too that the plane made us disembark miles away from the baggage claims, not only were my children hungry but tired and I had no assisstance getting my kids comfortable.
