I rcvd a letter that chase was lowering the limit on my credit card from $1500 to $800 so I called them and cancelled the card. I've never been late on any credit card and I've lost all respect for the idiots running chase bank.

Two weeks later I rcvd a letter that they are cancelling my other credit card due to too many accts open and for too short of a time! What???? What the heck happened to pay your bills and your credit is good?????

It does mess up your credit when these idiots cancel your card for any reason. Why don't they give you the chance to cancel it instead of cancelling you and I still have a balance on that card. I'm soo pissed off and will be writting letters to whoever will listen so my credit its ruined. I knew Chase was going to mess things up, but I never thought they would cancel me for some made up BS reason.
