TAMMY S. SHUBERT (or her company SIDERITE SIDING INC. I received a check from) rented a vacation property for 2 people: her and her husband Jason D. Shubert as per rental agreement. They negotiated 50% off our regular rate. 2 days before Tammy Shubert's and her husband's arrival she sends an e-mail that 3 more couples are going to stay at the property.
She arrives one days earlier and wants to check in one day before her scheduled arrival day.
The rate was quoted for 4 adults and 4 children maximum 8 guest occupancy at the property; the agreement she signed indicated only two guests;
my neighbors called my husband and me to complain that the house was crowded with 8 adults and 5-6 kids; 4 trucks, ATVs and 3 trailers...
The property is not a party facility and is only intended for quiet enjoyment.
It was reported to me that she had a FIRE PIT IN THE DRIVEWAY OF THE PROPERTY. My housekeeper reported that some trees and grounds were burnt; TAMMY SHUBERT was warned that fire pits are not allowed during summer time; next day she had a fire on the premises again in spite of the warning.
We were out of State at that time and did not know what was going on. Somebody called police. I was contacted by police and local fire department and received a warning that my guests started a fire that can bring catastrophic results. I could have been cited for fire code violation; there are warnings all over the area that fire is not allowed.
The renters ruined quite a few things at the house including a brand new Foosball. As a result they lost their deposit.
They post numerous negative comments calling me names and accusing me of fraud.
My recommendation to vacation home owners: do not rent to BOTTOM FEEDERS - you will regret it deeply.
