I purchased a Tascam 8 track digital recorder with the extended warranty.
Two months after I bought it the right side mic would stop recording in the middle of a song.
I switched the cords, mics, etc. still not working.
I called GC and they told me to call the warranty center, I dropped off the recorder at the
recommended repair center.
I literally took it back eight times!!! And it's still not working after a year and a half.
Needless to say the labor warranty went out, I called the warranty center and they told
me I would have to pay to get it fixed even though it was never fixed in the first place.
Don't fool yourself they will not replace it with a new item!!! Even though you have the
extended warranty.
They told me to write a letter to the President of the Compnany and file
a complaint.!!!
Thats what I call service. I will never again make any major purchases at GC.
