CLAIM
Dear sir, my name Rita mohanty, my insurance policy no:015119644700, policy period 15/04/2011 to 14/04/2010. i have registered a claim on 08/06/2011 for my car ford fiesta bearing registration no: UP14AP9752, got accident on the way while on transition to Mumbai from Delhi, at Agra the customer care of TATA AIG assure me to send a surveyor to nearest service center Called Bhavana ford Nerul(E) and i taken my car to the said garage but two days no one attend the garage, ultimately i return my Vehicle to my resident and again called them on 22/06/2011 they assured me to send their surveyor but no one attend the complain, next on 29/06/2011 and 30/06/2011 i following through on phone no body response my call, when i call them on 06/07/2011 the Representative suggest me to we are not repair your vehicle you can do what ever you want, kindly help me to resolve my problem.

SERVICE COUPONS RELATED ISSUE
Hello,

This is regarding my issue related to service coupons. Below are the details:
I renewed my car's policy with Tata AIG in Oct 2010 as I was promised 04 service coupons but have not received so far (10th May 2011). Earlier, I had car insurance with Bharati Axa and I was been offered bonus to renew insurance with Bharati again, but I decided to got with Tata AIG as I was getting service coupons, which were of more value to me, but never received those coupons. So far, I have called up not less than 15 times to Tata AIG and the regional agent but have not received any response from any of them. Although, they have called me a fgew times but no resolution is been provided to me. Every time, I get a call from Tata AIG, they tell me that they have pressurised local agent (who sold me policy) to resolve the issue and when I get a call from local agent, then they say that they have asked Tata AIG to give them coupons but have not received yet and start saying bad things about company like Tata AIG stopped giving coupons suddenly and now they are being bugged by their customers, etc. FYI, one of the complaint number with TATA AIG is : 887055108, which is open since February and have not made ANY PROGRESS yet. I had a word with Ravi Kumar, one of the manager in Tata AIG customer care office many times (Contact Number : 022-67838282, Extn. : 3052) regarding this issue. He tried to help me, but not complaint department. Ritu (lady who sold policy to me) is also getting rude now. She gave me her contact number and asked me to contact her whenever the need be and wanted the call to be closed anyhow. This kind of inappropriate and unprofessional response from both (Tata AIG and agent), I am been bound to take further actions. Please look into the matter as the issue is been pending for more than now 06 months now and cannot wait any longer. Regional agent is asking me to cooperate and is saying that they will give me huge discount next time but nothing can be done this time as company (Tata AIG) has betrayed them. She mentioned that many of their customers has complained about this and Tata AIG stopped giving service coupons but now we have no explanations. So, now, you have to figure out where is the problem and who is at fault. Kindly take corrective measures to figure it out and provide me either service coupon or refund money back.

I tried to share the issue from your website as well, but I am getting an error (as mentioned in the attached file), which was again very irritating. I am not sure, why Tata AIG is not giving proper attention to the customers, especially after selling out the policy. I am saying this as I have experienced this – MORE THAN 15 CALLS TO TATA AIG – ASKED FOR SUPERVISOR 12 TIMES - EVERYTIME PROMISED A CALL BACK - GOT CALL BACK JUST 02 TIMES OUT OF 12 TIMES - IS THAT THE WAY TO SERVICE YOUR CUSTOMERS, IF YES, THEN I HAVE MADE A MISTAKE TO RENEW POLICY WITH TATA AIG, IF NO, THEN PLEASE TAKE ACTIONS AGAINST CULPRITS.

How HSBC and Tata AIG cheat people
Recently I've got a really bad experience from Tata AIG... I hold a credit card of HSBC, one day I got a call from HSBC person giving an information about this health care insurance from TATA AIG, it was supposed to be different than mediclaim and bla bla bla... I declined the offer from HSBC, however the guy on phone played the first trick, he told me that they will send me information papers about the policies and then I can decide whether to take the policy or not within 14 days of receiving the papers... I made a mistake by saying OK to send the papers, then the call was transferred to TATA AIG executive, who got the necessary information from me...

During this call with TATA AIG, I realized that I've been trapped by this trick and now actually I was availing the policy... At that time what I thought was, let's take the policy (something like which I anyway needed) and go through the documents and as the HSBC guy told me, I can anyway cancel it in 14 days...

At the end of the conversation with TATA AIG (by the way, all this conversation was being recorded for confirmation), the executive told me that only changing the policy level could be done in 14 days without any charges and if I wanted to cancel the policy then I will have to pay Rs.99 per person (I was going for myself, my father and my mother)... here I realized that I was being cheated in daylight!!! but I could not do anything at that moment...

I decided that when the papers arrive, I will cancel the 3 policies and pay Rs.297... so I called the TATA AIG helpline numbers to cancel this... And here came the big blow... now the TATA AIG executive told me that there was no clause at all which said about the Rs.99 per person charges for cancellation, on the contrary I will be charged 25% of the annual premium amount (which worked out to be about Rs.2200)...

When I told him to refer the recorded earlier conversation, he held the call for 2 minutes and came up with a typical cheater's statement "There is no mention of Rs.99 per person for cancellation"...

I am feeling really disgusted "How can I be made so fool"... but in reality, these companies are not fooling... they are "CHEATING"...

So please spread the word and do not fall into such traps.

Dear Sirs,

I have received the above policy document giving contract conditions etc. The policy was taken through your Agent Code 001132486 Mr. Pawankumar Chandradev and the office code is AH01.

On scrutiny of the policy document sent to me I observe that the conditions laid down are quite different than what your agent has told me. Your agent had advised me that even illness requiring 3 days or more hospitalisation for any ailment can be reimbursed by the Tata AIG. However, from the policy I observe that only critical illness and death are included in the policy. This is quite contrary to the conditions stated by your agent. Your agent had not obtained my signature on the form giving details of different plan and had, it appears, signed himself. If he had obtained my signature on this document, I would have come to know the exact benefit offered by Tata AIG. I would request you to kindly clarify these matters immediately as I don't think the present policy offered to me now is not suitable for my purpose. Besides, I also observe that the General Amendment form also does not contain my signature. These things are highly irregular and I am constrained to bring these matters to your knowledge for remedial action.

It is possible, I may be either required to change the plan or request you to cancel the policy and seek refund of the amount paid, depending on your reply. I shall look forward for your reply at the earliest to enable me take due action.

Scam in issued the health policy
On the 19 Jun 2007 I had received one call from TATA AIG Executive saying that as you have canceled one policy that was issued to you by HSBC. We have to refund your money, I said ok but he said for refunding your money, you need to attained one fresh call for new policy so that we will cancel it with new policy number but you don't have to pay nothing for this. This is the only one way to refund your money as per that he called me and taken my card no and cvc no with new policy ref no is MCIT0706186409.

After completion of the call for the security reason I mailed to HSBC regarding all this whole thing and requested HSBC to not allowing to charge any single money in the favor of TATA AIG. Still HSBC has charged me Rs.31820 on my card.
