very poor connection, not connected half the time, very poor response when complaints made.
pls look into it.
do not even want to change the wire for the end connection.

Worst service
We have taken prepaid broad band connection from TATA. The plan consists of no installation charges. When we applied for the connection we did not know that their service is so bad. We came across so many difficulties in getting the connection. As it was a prepaid connection we have already paid the money for 6 months in advance and they did not bother to give the connection till one week after that. As we both are working, we have mentioned our suitable timings in the form itself, but they used to call us after that time only by the time we used to be in the office.
Well now we have moved from that place and we need to shift the connection to the e new place. When we called up to customer care they asked us to pay 500 rs for new installation after the feasibility test. We applied for shifting the connection online and over there they have not mentioned anything like this. Even though we have moved in within the same area the feasibility test failed giving the reason that there are not enough connections in your area to provide you the connection at this moment. Since last 15 days they are doing nothing on this front. They are not ready to give my money back and not the connection. They advised us to take a dial up connection but for that I will have to pay separately. I am still sending them mails to get my money or connection back. The simple fact remains that ONE SHOULD NOT TAKE TATA BROADBAND AT ALL... THEY PROVIDE REALLY WORST SERVICE AND THEY ARE FRAUD...

worst services
My net is not working since i have taken the broadband connection.
Every day sometimes DSL problem or the wire disconnected from the tree, very funny na! but true in my locality there is no junction from where they distribute the loop connections, the main wire is hanging on the tree and they have connected the all subscriber's wire to that, every day boys play there,do you know sometime they climb on the tree or pull the wire so it gets disconnected.When i make compliant to customer care, what they say 'sorry for the inconvenience, I have noted down your problem very soon our technical person will visit your place,and i am sure it will be rectify till today evening.'But i dont know when their evening come.
If i keep talking means there is no end.so better i sould shut my mouth.Already money waist, dont want to waist energy.

Non-attending complaints
I have a broadband connection from Tata broadband.I lost connection and made a complaint.after repeated it a number of times they did not do anything for it. They mailed to me that they had repaired it. But nothing had done. On October 11 th My connection period was over and I was asked to renew by paying additional amount and thereafter they will settle it.
I did not done it. Now what I have to do ? I have the copy of Email letters showing complaint numbers sent by service provider.

I had made a complain on 23rd sept, but till date no response. I had made lots of many call to customer service executive and sent mail also but no response. Worst broadband service provider.

Fraud & cheating!
I Am a Software Engineer and hence do know all the technical know hows... so whatever I write, I do understand. I got this connection in 20th August 2007 (a week later than what it was committed - here you go with the first cheating, when the connection has not yet started).
After a couple of days of usage, the connection went down as the DSL link would not respond. I talked to the dealer and he confirmed that 6 DP Boxes were down in the area. I kept complaining to 60607070 (tata customer care). They always had excuses and promises but never an answer (Second - Fraud).
I am a prepaid user and have lost 1/3rd of my usage for the month by the DSL being down for 10 days now. Today morning I got a call from VSNL to confirm that the connection was fixed ( I checked it instantly). The DSL was still down and i reported. To which he said that I have downloaded two days ago and yesterday (1284.19 MBs).
Here goes the big big fraud... If my DSL was down all these days till now(I even confirmed with the technician in the area and he said that they will be fixed today (one more promise)...
If the DSL was down all these days, how can I even connect to the internet? And then how can I download? That too 1284 MBs... my average usage is around 400MBs in 10 days. When I ask for the refund and ask them to disconnect the line and refund me the residual amount, they have not such policies...
I guess the only polices thy have is CHEAT & FRAUD THE CUSTOMERS FOR MONEY. Wherever you complain, no matter what department they all are shameless and taught to be CHEATERS & FRAUDS.
TATA Broadband is the worst service I have ever received. please do not hire TATA for any services. The biggest fraud I have experienced.

Poor service!
I bought broadband services of TATABROADBAND about two years back. Normally the connectivity is reasonable. BUT whenever the connectivity is disrupted, there is no proper response from the company. There is only one number 60607070 for lodging complaints and inquiring about complaint. Usually they inform that your complaint will be attended to within 10 working hours. At the end of 10 working hours, you are told it will take 7 working days. At the end of 7 working days they inform it will take some more time. AND thats the end.
Whenever you ask to speak to a senior person the standard answer is they are busy. Despite holding the phone for 40 to 50 minutes, you cannot get connected to a senior person. They are not ready to give you office address or phone numbers of the company.
If you somehow find the office address and try to approach them, their behavior is very rude. They suddenly leave their seat and leave you alone. Even at the office they refuse to give the phone numbers and names of senior persons.
This is all what you get from a reputed company like TATA .
My services are disrupted since 11-8-07 and the only information i have is that some switches are stolen and the matter is under investigation with police. They don't know when or at all they will be resuming the services.
