My name is J. S. Pai. I am a project engineer and consultant. I operate between Mumbai - Mangalore/ Bangalore. Due to my work I needed a mobile connection in Mumbai. I had applied around 22-06-10 for the same at TATA DOCOMO, Vashi, Navi Mumbai Store and got a no. 7208200888. The no. was not activated. Upon enquiry with the stores, they told me that the CPV was negative. The address given by me for Mumbai is C/o address where I stay with my uncle. I had given all the related documents. The electricity bill, my uncles id proof and my id and permenent address proof documents. The CV agent has given a negative report while enquiring with my aunt staying there, the agent was given the details. Also my ID proof and photo was shown to the said person. Yet, the CV has been given as negative. On enquiry, the Docomo Stores executive told me that it has been reported that I was found not to be staying at that place. (In fact it is my uncle's place and I am C/o with them. I was out of station on work). The CV had tried to call my alternate no. is what the remark says. But I did not receive any call from the agent on my present permenent no. I understand that the no.s carried by the agent do not have STD facility. This is an inefficiency of the CV agency. When I complained about this to the Vashi Stores, they refused to take a written complaints and give any acknowledgement for it. Instead they said that the application would be cancelled and there would be a full refund of Rs. 635 given back in 30 days. Its been almost 3 months now and the refund has not yet been given. Also, I wrote to the customer care address given in website, but they have not event take the courtesy to acknowledge it, forget resolving it.
I should be getting the refund with demuragges.

Logged complaint for out going calls on 25/05/10 till yet no action have been taken.

I went to dive in site which is advertised as free. there i clicked on whts new & portfolio manager to know what it was(not to download/start service). i got a screen saying ur handset does not support this service. then i got a sms saying Rs.49 has been deducted from ur account. what is the difference between TATAs & roadside pickpocket? DONT U THINK MAMATA BANERJEE WAS RIGHT IN W.BENGAL?
