Subject: Extremely unhappy at the callous manner in which the cable has been drawn to provide me the connection.

The connection has been activated and I am very happy at the people – the person who came to collect the form and the person who came to install the application and activate the connection in my computer.

However I am truly shocked at the most callous manner in which your technicians have drawn the cable across the road over the car parking area of our apartment to provide me the connection.

I am sure your people would have been briefed to get permissions from the estate office / housing society of apartment blocks and adhere to their guidelines while drawing the cable from the road. Your person has drawn the cable across the apartment block without permission and has drawn the wire in a manner that endangers the safety of the people using the premises.

The society has advised the maintenance dept to remove the wire with immediate effect.

Please be advised to send your technicians to remove the cable immediately. Since I have been advised to pay the cost of this removal I shall let you know the amount which I advise you to promptly settle within 7 days.

Also I request you to advise your cable technicians to take permissions from the society and adhere to their processes regarding drawing of the cable. There are Airtel and Reliance broadband cables operational in our apartment block and they have complied with the formalities.

Expecting prompt reply and action.

THIS COMPLAINT WAS FILED ON 2nd of February 2007. In spite of repeated calls / emails there is no action taken from the Service provider.

Attempts to contact senior officials are being stonewalled by the call center staff / junior field officers.
