worst customer service by indicom
I'm having TATA Indicom broadband from past one year.(account number 976324548) I opted for this just because it was TATA as I've immense respect towards TATA. This was the greatest mistake in my life. Recently say 20 days back I changed my home but in the same locality. As usual I requested indicom to shift the connection, the agreed for that and committed to do so within 72 hrs.
I was waiting for the service person in those 72 Hrs (i was a fool that I realized later!) None showed his face, again I called indicom and once again same ramayana mahabharata repeated and once again commitment, this time it was 48 hrs commitment!! and no need to say that nothing was happened!!!
Again again I called indicom but this time they act very clearly as soon as I mentioned my account number they just disconnect my call.
TATA indicom can easily top in customer care hall of shame world list.
God bless indicom. In the mean time I feel pity on Ratan Tata, these indicom people are blackening his glory.

Stay far away from TATA Indicom Broadband
This is the second such dirty incident with TATA indicom. Following are the Incident
1) My brother had brought a TATA indicom connection because they were giving Internet Free after Connecting Data Cable to the Handset.They provided us with the Handset but did not provide us with the DATA Cable. We had to go to variety of TATA indicom franchise Store located in Nearby Area but They to could not provide us with the same due to which we got frustrated and diconnected the Connection. My brother also spoke to the call centre located in Pune but was getting all false promise from the team member and the TEAM LEADER When My brother went to return the handset he was charged Rs 900 only for two days. And in the next month we got Rs 1500 bill due.This was a pathetic situation. TATA had spoiled there name after cominig in Telecom Sector they were best in car motor and Trucks
2) My Brother again brought TATA indicom Broad band Connection on 18 June 2006 we paid Mr. Nayan Vadel (Team Member, Cell no 9324260692) Rs 999 for the broad band Connection he told us within seven days your internet will be connected on the eight day when I called him up he told me that building was not coming in the feasible area he even told me that he would return me the check within One week time and he himself would be dropping the cheque at home.To day is 12 August 2006 we have not recived the cheque as of yet when I (Dominic) spoke to Mr. Abbas he told me that you will have to speak to Mr. Nayan Vadel When I spoke to him he told me that he has dispatched the cheque (Was told on 10 August 2006) But again on Questioning him on 11August 2006 he told me that he will talk to the concern person regarding the same. This was lied told to me by him.

really bad network
I am currently using Tata Indicom broadband..I just wanted to share my horrible experience with u guyz..the network of Tata Indicom is the worst..u would be lucky if u got one hour of uninterrupted services..and after repeated complaints, it hardly makes any difference..I will never ever subscribe Tata Indicom broadband services in my life again, neither will I recommend it to my friends, but may be I 'l tell a few people I dont wanna see online, that its network is great..
Tata Indicom broadband sucks big time...

Ratan Tata is Fooling Public
Hello All,
I would want to say that there exists an Organization called TATAINDICOMBROADBAND Service by the most reputed TATA's ofcourse, they are fooling public by placing the offer and not giving the correct service and the saying the money is non-refundable!!
Dont you think that this is crazy!!
I have got this TATA Internet service 15 days(16/09/2009) back and till today i.e., 01/10/2009..i was able to avail the service only 10%...rest 90% the service was disabled...(Problems : Cable Unplugged / IP Address Conflict)...Moreover Mocrosoft.com and QuickHeal .com is not accessible...
When i went to complain so called Nodal officers ...joke they are more big bastards then customer care executives ;-)
I mean no insect is moving on anyone's ear!!!
I am very upset..I dont want to try to the second level esclation Applatte Authority...
I urge everyone...not to go for the TATA service...!!

The boss who teaches how to loot
I am looking for a best possible way to express the unbelievable services I received from the Tata Indicom and the local internet service provider DOMBIVLI INTERNET SERVICE (DIS). But Now I would like to give them a Medal of Honor for really sitting in their offices and taking all the bashings from the customers they face.
Infact, I feel that Tata has a New way of developing India up by recruiting handicapped customer service guys who are deaf and mentally retarded. They just have to pick up the call and listen to the Customer who is frustrated with the Internet service they provide. I have not figured out who the real culprit is as the local service provider DOMBIVILI INTERNET SERVICE (DIS) is also involved in my 4 month stint of Internet service from Tata.
Well anyways they made sure that I don't use the service anymore and the FUNNIEST Part is when I asked them to disconnect the connection, the very next day a customer rep called me up and asked me to check if my internet connection has been properly disconnected. That was funny as I have never seen it properly connected when I had the connection.
So people living in and around DOMBIVILI, I just want to let you know that even if you don't have an option to get any other service provider in your location apart from DIS, take it from writing from the Service provider that he would attend to you complaints within a speculated date or else you are free to take him to Consumer court at your will.
I believe if I had done that, I would at least have had the peace of mind and satisfaction for the money I spent on this service.

Pathetic internet service
I have been a customer of Tata Indicom Broadband for last 2.5 years now. First of all I was having this Connection at my Old house, But than I shifted to new House & requested them to shift my Connection. This people were not ready to shift my Connection but when I applied for new Connection this people came running for it & gave it.
Like its said Necessity is mother of invention. I took a new connection on 13th, april, 2008 & this time its a cable T1 kind of connection without any Router/Modem, I should say direct cable to my Computer. The day from which I took connection problems started. Every 3rd day Internet is not up I have to call 60607070 wraith 30 minutes to only hear your issue would be resolve in 24 hours & I bet I have to call them again next day than luckily might get resolved but I promise would work only for 2 days. Little do they realize that I need internet so that my Parents can talk with my sister abroad. They have charged me about Rs.4, 200/- for 6 months. This is worst service I have ever seen in my life. Currently Complaint no is 6013744 which they have been addressing for last 2 days.
Even the phone no of Nodal officer mentioned on site which is - 9225611516 doesn't work. I have mailed them today & hope to get some response from them. The problem lies in that this service is managed by Tata & ICC which makes it worse.
Its my Humble request to PEOPLE out there not to go for Tata Communications internet as its sheer waste of your money & precious time.

Wrong billing practices
I got this broadband connection (Infinity 128 plan) on 28-May-2008. I received a Welcome Call from your Hyderabad Call Center the next day. The person told me that I can upgrade to Infinty 384kbps for just Rs.1000/ per month. I confirmed this twice with him. He told me that from June onwards the 128kbps plan is stopping and the 384kbps plan is reducing to 1000 Rs. per month and advised me to change the plan from the website My Tarrif section.
So I did change the plan. I checked that section again today, it still shows 384kbps as 1400 per month. Please help me in how to go about lodging a complaint against this, FIR -or- Consumer Court -or- complaint to TRAI. What is the way out. Plzzz Help guys. After endless calls and email chains with customer care, I have been told today that I have to pay 1400 only as the plan charges change got effect from 6th june. Why did the person who gave me welcome call misinformed me. After telling the customer care person I wouldn't pay 1400 for this month, he told me that it is not possible. These guys have taken 4 month advance and cut the money from that.
Wrong billing practices. They call it postpaid connection and charge for the next month in advance in this month's bill. Is there any way to complain to TRAI about this wrong practice.
Out of my 4 months advance rental of Rs.3150, Rs1710 got charged after just 4days of activation for the month of May.
Now the balance is only 1410 after 4days.

Tata Indicom Broadband - Worst Service
I did the biggest mistake of my life taking a Tata Indicom Broadband connection.
The problems started from the very first day I filled up the Application form. I was told that we will get the connection within 10 days of filling the application which never happened. After numerous calls and numerous emails to the customer care, finally got the Broadband Connection after 1.5 months. It worked fine for initial few days. Then the problems began again.
Since 25th April I am unable to connect to the Broadband service. I have been calling them almost everyday since then but to no avail. They don't have any value for other person's time, money and efforts. I am really annoyed by their service. The first level of support always begins from the same point. Despite telling them that it's the old problem I am referring to, they again start taking some values and then when they find the values all right, they transfer the call to the Network Management Team. Then begins the wait. Now either they have shortage of staff or most of the people are facing some or the other problem, we always have to hold for more than 45 minutes atleast before the call gets connected. It is really annoying and frustrating holding the call for so long and listening to the wait music. Once I asked the first level guy to connect to his supervisor, again I was put on hold for 45 minutes and the call never got transferred. It is the worst service I have faced.
Finally on 06th May a field engineer came to my premises and he changed the static IP and did some backend settings and the Internet was up. But only for as long as he was there. Once he left my place, the internet stopped working and my calls and holding the phone started again.
I am very disappointed with something which is associated with such big name like Tata.
I am not sure how to get it rectified and even if it works for me, I am sure there will be many people like me who will keep suffering from such poor service.
I hope this issue is highlighted in the right forum and somebody takes an action on it.

BAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE
This to bring to the public, the harrowing experiece I had with the TATA Indicom broad band service.
I had subscribed to the broadband service in August@ Sultanpalya in Bangalore.It is a wireline broad band connection. The cable was a overhead wire that was pulled from the closest control centre of TATA Indicom.
Initially the cable used to get snapped regularlysince the company laid it over the other's houses. Once this problem (3months )was rectified...The modem started crashing every second day. Finally better sense prevailed on them and in the last week of November they changed the modem.
My woes did not end there from here the server problems started. The cable if it is not snapped, the server would be down and the TATA Indiconm team takes large amount of time rectifying the problem.
This goe on and on every month with out any end. Effectively I get to use the broad band for a week or so every month.
One thing is prompt is the bill and the collection.
Not only this the customer service call centre line is as in efficient as the technical team.
They appologise 100 times but will not take the right step to resolve the problem.I do not know why they call them technical help desk on the IVR?
Finally I have taken the decision to put a hardstop to my distress.
I have cancelled the service. these people are now lazy to collect the modem and switch. they are also not eager to send me my deposit amount. What else do you call this kind of terrible service? hopeless, pathetic, unprofessional!
