Service fraud
I have bought 3 months prepaid subscription pack from Tata Indicom Broadband on 17th Apr 2007. My account got disconnected on 30th May for no reason. Also in last 1 month, I have logged service down complaint every day because of which I have not used this service more than 20%. There customer service reps are inefficient and there is no escalation process. It is the worst internet service provider in India.

Most of the time is... Downtime!
These people install a 24 hr connection which works barely for 6-7 hours during the day time only. People who have work with their over seas friends and colleagues (in the USA) or Canada, suffer because there is no internet working at night.

The reason they Give is, the fiber might just be cut. Once the line is down, the technician doesn't turn up for 3-4 days. And when he comes, he needs royal treatment and seeks pleasantries and rewards. Is this what how tata broadband works???

I don't know which language to use. You people stand even worst than Bastards. From today onwards i will always refer tata indicom as Bastard. In my entire life i will never suggest any body to go with with TATA Indicom. On top of that i have already logged on to bloggers site and mentioned my experience which i have faced with you people. You people have harassed me so much for 1 week that i cannot explain. I am not able to use my internet from last sunday onwards. From monday onwards i am calling customer care twice each and every day. You can check your records for the same. The best part is every time i have to hold for 10 minutes to talk to unprofessional hindi speaking illiterate jats and Jugars. I have already spend RS.250 in calling up you people but problem remains the same. From each and every cal centre executive i get the same reply we are getting it checked and will reply shortly. I wonder from last monday you people are checking and checking. Your technician came to my house to get it rectified, he just changed the wire and told every thing is fine. Links are down. Try to log in after half an hour it will work and he went away. I tried logging in after 1 hour it did not work. I again called customer care i got the same answer. We will get it checked.Please your customer care needs training drastically. I just want to know form you bastards that on which business model you are working. I will like to share one data with you people because i am sure that no one must be knowing in your company. Penetration of internet connection is just 7 percent in entire India. I dont know your share in 7 %. So tell your your manager about this fact. I am sure that your manager will not understands it because he must be graduate from any tom dick and hary university. Share this information with a person who has got some brian. You will definitely lose me as a customer after 1 months because i have paid for my services. And for god sake you have little bit of shame left in your then please get my problem resolved. Any which ways i have already taken it as a loss and worst customer service i have ever experienced in my entire life. Shame on you people.

Fraud company!
Worst service providers... Infact they are expert in cheating customers... They took money from me... I was never able to access the account... Finally they called again asked me to renew the account... No service... Only money looting activity...

Tata Indicom service is like HELL
Due o urgent requirement, I took Tata Indicom Broadband on 25th Feb 2007. Connection got activated only on 27th Feb 2007 though it was told that it would start on 25th itself. From 28th Feb 2007, the link was down for 6 days. I called up customer service twice daily, but not even a single time i received a callback from Tata Indicom.

Again now since 21st Mar 2007 the connection is down again and till today 27th Mar 2007. There has not been any callback from Tata Indicom though I have been calling everyday. The customer service people say "I will make sure somebody will definitely call u back" every time i call.

I really regret to have taken that connection. AND now i have to suffer for 6 months. I want to discontinue, but they say i cannot get my rest of the money back.

Post paid cellular connection still not activated
Tata Indicom customer care executives have told that my connection will functional wirthin 24 hours but i has not started till date. I took this connection on 9th nov.

Very poor service
I had a Tata Indicom Broadband conection in Delhi- post paid with Account No.ACCssss (user id shantasss. Due to very poor service, the connection was terminated by me around 25 July , 2006 and the CPE was collected after repeated attempts on August 12th, 2006. Now since then I have contacted all the people by e mail as well as the customer service centre to get my security deposit of Rs1000.00 back. But there is no indication as to when this will come. My last e mail dated Sept 5 has not been acknowledged by any one of the above gentlemen whose names have been given above. Although consumer are expected to pay bills on time , refund of a paltry amount like Rs1000.00 takes for ever. The customer service is horrible beyond description. E mails do not elicit any response or generate meaningless replies , calls get attended after being put on hold for 10-12 minutes on an average and the junior call centre employee taking calls cannot provide any redressal at all.

Poor victim of the cruel play of Tata Indicom
I am also a poor victim of the cruel play of tata indicom cc and technical ppl ... I did not have yet connection from 12th to 29th of April and I had to call the customer care for all these days ... and in between they played very 'smartly' by closing the case itself !! they claim that they have called me and i have agreed to close the case !!! they r really CRUEL ppl .. i don't understand how ppl can be so irresponsible .. !!!

Finally my friend came down here and he resolved it by himself !! Tata Indicom ppl did not put any effort in solving that issue ... !!! :(((

No connectivity
For the last 3 months despite repeated complaints the broadband connection has not been restored.
Can somebody help me file legal proceedings at consumer forum?

Billing problem
Finally after facing problem from last three days I went to Tata Indicom Broadband VSNL office at Kalyaninagar, Pune and request to activate Internet connection. Your executive Deepak was there who listened to my request carefully and helped me out of that. Your customer care services (66110121) is the worst among all I myself have called more then 20 times and told all the details and problems I am facing. They only know how to apologies and give time of next half hour but has no solution atoll. From your billing department Treafa Hiwale [email protected] she called me 3 days back and asked me for my account statement to mail her where its reflects the payment details, I did it immediately on her email id above. Today after 3 days she call me and tells that she haven’t received any mail from me. I have all the sent mails in my sent mailbox.

My problem was that I paid all my 4 months of bill in advance Rs. 3,692.00/- by cheque and its cleared also even after that my Internet connection was inactivated due payment due on the first month. Who is going to pay me the loss of 3 days and my telephone charges of speaking with your non-tollfree customer service?

Now after 3 days my Internet connection is activated but in my In My usage account its still showing me outstanding Amount 983.82/- even after these guys have all my payment details.
