This is about a new Tata Indicom (Switch to this crap, and feel the difference!!) USB internet connection that they have selling on all platforms these days. Believe me, this is the worst product experience that I have had in the past few years. These guys are chor. The guy who had called up about a scheme was not traceable after he promised that the connection would be up and running in 3 days. He would just not pick up the phone. Fortunately I could contact the dealer and had to virtually fight with them to get them deliver and connect that. Then an engineer (Arif) comes over to my place and was simply unable to connect that for two hours (!!!). This guy had no knowledge about the product or the company or the scheme or anything for that matter. I was surprised about this, He gave me his number so that I could call him in case of any problem. I connected to the net after a few days as I also have a Airtel landline. Touchwood thats working fine, but has to be temporarily disconnected bcos of some interiors that I am getting done. The connection was so slow that I could not even open normal pages of 40-45 kbs. Not even google!! I tried to test the speed, and i got something like 9kbps. I tried calling up the helpline. This was the most frustrating experience that I have had. I would not get connected, or the dialed phone number for verification was told wrong four times and then they disconnected me two times. I called up Arif and he gave me another guy Yogesh Pawar's number. I called him thrice, All I got was three diff ring tones. I called back Arif and he told me that he would be there in 20 mins as he was in the Mahakali area only. When he didn't turn up for two hours, I started calling up. He hasn't picked up the phone for the last two days or 50 calls, Neither has Yogesh Pawar. I finally got to speak to the helpline yesterday and they took me through some setting changes. I did that, but still the connection was slow. then he asked me to do some ping tests, which he said was showing that speed was ok. He advised me to have my machine checked. When I told him that the machine is fine bcos my Airtel is working fine, he insisted that there was nothing wrong with Tata Indicom. Despite insisting that someone should come and have a look, he said they cant do that. When I decided to lodge a complaint, they said that they cannot take a complaint for this. Believe me, they DID NOT even take the complaint.!!

I am planning on my future course of action- approaching TRAI and the consumer courts,after I follow this up with Tata Indicom again. Very shortly I will update you guys about this.

One final advice: This Tata thing sucks, its crap, Its shit... Don't, don't ever even think of buying anything from them. And screw Kajol for taking up the ambassadorship for such craps.

I had signed up for a tata indicom prepaid connection around 2-3 months back at the head office for tata indicom in Vaishali,Jaipur.The connection is on my mothers name i and my mother submitted all my documents and the agents in their office confirmed that all the documents are accurate.However one week after submitting the documents my connection was blocked (no outgoing,no incoming and no sms could be sent) and at that time i was travelling.I called them up for help but my mother who was in jaipur was in touch with them but was given a run around. After a week or so they started the connection when i went with my mother to their headoffice in jaipur.I was told that it was a technical error at their end.Now i am really frustrated as my connection is again blocked for a week now.I went to the jhotwara office and the agent said that she'll fix the problem for me i also gave her an alternate no. on which she could confirm from me if my no. had started but she never called and assumed that it is up and running.The agents name is Nutan in Jhotwara office.I then called and spoke to an agent in vaishali office who gave me some other story.He said that i was given a call by somebody from their end to confirm my address and number and i refused.Can somebody tell me why will i?He reconfirmed my address over that same call and i told him that they have it correct.I met with an accident last week and had no means to inform my parents who are not in town.Now i cannot go out as im on complete bed rest and the agent in the vaishali office refused to help and said that this connection is already blocked and that if i want i can go ahead and get all the other tata indicom connections disconnected.I have three.Seems like it does not matter to him.I am working for a bpo as a trainer and i will make sure that i discourage each and every person to stop using tata indicom.Its the worst company ive ever come across in the customer service field.Now im sitting without a connection just hoping that i feel better and would go to their office to get it started.Iam completely fed up of talking to such rude agents with tata indicom.Hope that through this mail my connection is unblocked.

This is a complaint regarding non reciept of bill for the post paid moblie no. 9246880339 taken my name

Jaya Prakash Narayan Reddy.
Repeated complaints were made in this regard as it is a company connection for official use. The bill is

reimbursed by my company and I need bill for the same.
Even the latest bill was not sent to be and made me unable to pay the bill. As the bill amount is usually

high it can be paind only after it is processed by my office. It hardly takes a day for my office to process

the bill. But even after repeated complaints nothing happened with u r company.
To make the matters worse the incomming and outgoing was cut on 16/01/08 which was the day of conference

meeting on the phone. This made me loose my job - reason being not capable of maintaining the phone on the

day of review. I am making attempts to convince the heads that the fault is not at my end. The handset was

delibrately broken in anger and hence it is presently unservicible.
This is to bring to ur notice that the things need to be corrected at u r end and if u still want me to

continue with u r service u can provide me a new handsent with the same number. Failing which the present

dues shall not be paid. And also I would also proceed legally against your comapny claming hardship and loss

of Job charges.
I u r comapny is really interested in maintaing the reputation and customers u may revoke my connection

immedtly along with a new handset.
