Non Receipt of bills!
I never received my bills after January 2007 from Tata Indicom. I am tired of raising several complaints. The courier services they are using are cheap ones like Jeet couriers and Quick mail solutions which do not even have address.
I am undergoing harassment from the people from time to time asking for money!!! - the payment.
Worthless service!!!

Complete fraud and cheating services
I am is surendra from Hyderabad. TATA indicom has cheated me. I don't remember all complaint nos. but few of them are

Phone no. alloted to me by Tata indicom is 64576208 which is not working at all because they supplied an old and wrong instrument which is not in working condition.
I applied for a wireless internet connection on 13 of July 2007 for which I paid Rs 1622 as cash. After lot of request and office visit I haven't got this wireless internet service from Tata indicom. Also after all my inquiries about TATA Indicom I found that they dosen't have products (Like phone instrument, connecting cable etc) to provide wireless internet service for more then 3 months which is a fact. But even then TATA Indicom is cheating by taking customers money for this service with a promise of installation in 48 hrs. After taking the money and application what there people say is all fraud. Few of there statement as below:-
Make a call to customer care, we are not responsible for this.
Stock is not available, may come within a week.
We are sending our executive in one hour
This request will only be handle by head office.
Head office says, No we don't deal with these type of request. Please contact the executive who took ur application.
Executive shouts and says we can't do without order from service center.
All above statements are by tata indicom people. They don't know what they are doing and what is the need of a customer even when customer explains everything before applying for a service or product.
All I can say in short is
Ridiculous behaviour of indicom people
Worst service by TATA indicom
They don't have products and services for which they are making money.
New connection problems
Harassment of customers by TATA indicom executive(They should not be called as executive because they appoint any one for anything doesn't matter whether he can speak/write or not)
TATA Indicom is a scam
Complete fraud and cheating services.
I have sent the above problem to all there e-mails of nodal officers and senior executives in the hope of resolution for my problem.

Poor customer care service!
I may be just another dissatisfied customer writing this complaint in shear frustration. But I would like to draw your attention towards the mismanagement in the customer care service that Tata Indicom maintains. When you call their customer care, they certainly come forward with an “We Care” attitude but take a closer look, it’s just the same old “Protocol” they maintain, which they read out from a ‘Script” that given to them that gets logged in as yet another “Complaint Number”… just to conclude with a sweet voice that says “Sir, our field technician/engineer will get in touch with you within 24 hours”.
Here’s the number of complaints that I have filed since the time I opted for a Tata Indicom services. The connection was taken on 3rd March 2007. The tariff plan is Power On & On 6 – 256 for an amount of Rs. 6,061/-

Pathetic service and no connectivity!
I believe Tata Indicom is the most pathetic Broadband service provider in India. I face frequent connection problem; there is no internet connection at my place from past 4-5 days. Each time i call Customer care they say that there is some Server problem. Their services are pathetic and their customer care is even worse. I think nobody should use tata Indicom broadband services.

Rejecting application and looting Rs 500 for application rejected
Please be aware of fraud activities with this company. Under banner of TATA . They are major fraud.I planned to take up tata indicom mobile connection since STD where cheap.But what a nightmare. Major frauds!!!
I tried to take connection for me and my cousin. both application were rejected and application fee of Rs 600 was collected out of which they said 500 is refundable.
They have rejected both the application after simply giving crazy reason. our activation system down, database down, will activate in 3 days. One fine day we get call. Connection is rejected since the person is not working. For me connection is rejected since the person is working!!!
I might understand if they say connection is rejected for person not working since they might have difficulty or whatever. But for me I have been employed for almost 3 yrs and have proper salary slip. They say they don't give connection to business ppl.
Now that i ask them to return my deposit of 500 for each of application . they are saying iit will be delivered back after 20 days comes from main branch but nothing has come so far. there is no escalation path to reach their supervisors or ppl who are running this pathetic business. SHAME ON TATA to have such a pathetic service and even advertising it on TV for ppl to get fooled.
Can some please point me a way to file my complaint for this fraud activity.

Bad customer service!
Being a very old, loyal shareholder (30 years) of tata motors and tata steel and also worked for telco jamshedpur, the kind of service i witnessed at the tata indicom hub at new friends colony, delhi on the 17th july 2007. was terrible. In my recent dividend cheque from tata motors i got a coupon for getting a new connection of tata indicom for which i visited the above tata hub. to my surprise no one at the hub were aware of the scheme being given to shareholders. Every body were confused and were not briefed before it was rolled over to all shareholders.
This type of customer support in not taken by one of the premier institution of great india.

Broadband connection
I agree with everyone who has put the complaint against Tata Indicom. I suggest everyone not to take any service from them. I have opted for Tata Indicom Broadband service. First the sales person came to me and asked for ID card Xerox and check of Rs475 (this was even confirmed by there executive). I paid him the check and the document. Then for 3 days I didn't heard from them, then when I Call them back I came to know that the check that they collected was for wrong figure and need to pay them Rs1602. I agreed and that person came back and I gave the check, then after 4-5 days I got a call from some other person asking for more documents, this was really frustrating, I wanted the connection fast and this guys were not aware what all requirement they have. I provided the other documents also.
Then I got a call from there Verification department and after Verification they told that you will get connection by Monday evening and our filed executive will call you. On Monday I waited and I didn't got any call, I called them on Tuesday I was assured by Wednesday evening I will get connection, I called Wednesday evening they said Thursday you will get connection, then on Thursday they told on Friday you will get it and today is friday and still I have not got any connection.
The problem is they don't have courtesy even to call and update the things, if you ask reason they will tell our router burned, we have cable shortage and all sort of idiotic reasons. This is really a humiliating experience I faced. God only knows when I will get that connection.

TATA Indicom service is very poor!
POOR SERVICE OF TATA INDICOM BROAD BAND SERVICE...
I had applied shifting of connection through call on 3rd June 2007 & till now (i.e.12th July) I did not received the connection, already 40days is passed.
Main thing is while connecting there will be a responsible person but while service or shifting there will be no responsible person, when ever we call to the service they say Ok sir I will take this complaint in top priority & I will get it done, but who is the responsible person? They say company is responsible.
Here is the brief complaint description attached.
Customer: - Booked a complaint on June 3rd for shifting of connection & complaint number is 2572924.
Company: - After calling from my side company service people said that the port availability is not there.
Customer: - Inquired for a new connection, the new connection people said today you pay the amount next day I will connect it. I asked two connections he said it is possible.
How come it is possible for new connection if port is not free?
i.e. it is a false statement.
Company: - Company fellow said book a complaint it will be done.
Customer: - Again booked a complaint on June 11th complaint number 2641242.
Company:- After calling from my side company service people said that they had called you your phone is incorrect. Again a false statement, because never I will switch of my mobile.
Customer:- Called again to customer service people on 17th June.
Company:- Port availability is there & will be connected as early as possible.
Customer:- Felt very happy at least I will get the connection.
Company:- A surprise thing is I got a call from TATA Indicom service people, they asked me that you have applied for shifting of new connection, I said Yes. Immediately he kept the phone saying thank you.
Customer:- Again made a call on 24th June.
Company:- Sir in system it is showing that connection is already done.
Customer: - I was surprised when I heard this: with visiting our house it self how they connected all these things are false statement.
Customer:- Again called & asked what is the solution?
Company: - This complaint number is already closed so please make a new complaint & made a new complaint number 2840890.
Customer:- I called 4 times between this period & there is no response.
So dear my friends & all my advice is not to go for TATA INDICOM SERVICE because for calling to this service itself I have lost Rs 835. In this I would have got a new connection.
There is no responsible person for TATA INDICOM SERVICE.

Installed old and damage condition handset on new requirement
I am Tata Indicom customer having a postpaid connection from TATA Indicom since 25th April 2007. At the time of installation they have installed a old handset at my home; after making complaint they assured it will be changed after 2 days. But still the condition is same. When I made complaint to disconnect it they again told to me we will change it within 2 days please don't disconnect it. After some time a customer executive called at my home and said you have pay 1000/- Rs for changing. I am really worried.

Poor services by TataIndicom Broadband
I'm having corporate connection for Tataindicom broadband since last 7-8 months. Not used much during this period and I was paying monthly bills in a hope when needed I can opt for work from home. Last month got a chance to work form home as nobody was there at home to take care of my kid. I was too much disappointed with frequent disconnections when started working from home. I had called around 50-60 times to customer care since last 25-30 days but still having connectivity issues. Custromer care people seems to be troubling customers more. Looks like there is no responsible person to handle consumers' issues. Everytime getting same response from customer care people "Your issue will be resolved within 6 working hrs." Sometimes down time is more than 3-4 days and if it's working at all, either speed is horrible or disconnecting after every 5-10min.
