Why don't you shift to Airtel?
I really pity how the wonderful services of VSNL have been destroyed since Tata Indicom has taken over.

The Call Centre people act like machines - "Thank you for the Information, Thank you for calling Tata Indicom Have a good day".

The Internet does not work over 10 hours in a day where as I have a 24 hour connection.

The Service Engineers who come to our Home are really not interested to work. The latest person who came to our home Openly said - "Sir if you have problems with our service why don't you shift to new providers like AirTel ?" - I was shocked since I am a loyal customer of VSNL since last 7 years, I cannot see such a good company dying so badly in the hand of bad employees.

Very bad service provider with no after sales services!
I am a tata indicom (prepaid) costumer, my services were blocked without informing me, i lost my mobile two days ago and got the same no.9213513531, activated on other valid mobile bought from tata showroom, it was working fine for two days but today it was not, on contacting the service provider after alot of efforts i was informed that there is an ERROR , not knowing what kind and they also telling nothing. TATA INDICOM is boasting of what great service providers they are but they are the lousiest one of all. They dont even have proper complaint cell where one could launch its complaints, selling a product is not only a thing when they are not able to provide after sales services.

A VERY BAD SERVICE PROVIDER WITH NO AFTER SALES SERVICES.

Poor service / illegal use of mobile in other's name
Tata indicom has been my worst experience till date. I ordered for a cell phone which was supposed to be delivered to me 2 months back. For initial couple of days i received phone calls from customer care dept mentioning that i will receive a cell phone in one or two days time which actually never happened and now i have been receiving bills on a regular monthly basis for April 07 and May 07 which clearly indicates that somebody is using that phone. That somebody cannot be anybody but i m pretty sure that, that person belongs to ur company an is aware of all the loopholes. The number reflecting on the bill is 9212549865 which is obviously not been used by me. When i received the first bill in April 07, i went to ur office in okhla, newdelhi - india and requested to cancel the number. They committed that in few working hours this number will be disconnected which actually never happened and the number is still going on strongly. My concern is not the payment of bill coz if i m not using it nobody can make me pay for it. My concern is that if this number is being used for illegal purposes it may cause trouble for me as it is issue in my name. This is my request kindly disconnect this number asap.

Overlooking to listen problem by town incharge Mathura
I went to meet Mr- Ashish Anand Town incharge of Mathura to say that your engineer mot attend my problem after it direction by costumer care. He was sitting without any work and refuse to meet me. He is very proud and show only that he is a senior person of Mathura tata indicom. There is a long que of complain in mathura hi is not taking care for same.

Excess billing
I have been a Tata Indicom Broadband customer for approximately an year. I receive good service from people at Tirupati where as very bad service from their people at Hyderabad. They have this 'follow up' program for monthly dues and they keep doing this even several days after you pay your dues. Funny enough, they have ONLY ONE way to receive money - a cheque in their name. If the money is realised due to their fault, that is also treated as delay from customer's part! They are trying to charge me about Rs.100/- as 'reconnection charges' and it took my nerve to get an answer from them. Finally, one of the smart guys understood the whole issue and got back to me with an assurance to solve the problem. I really got to yell at them to get this done - pathetic indeed!

Internet is not installed on time

I am Tata Indicom customer. We have taken connection newly for Internet. But, the internet is not installed. We need Internet urgently.

TATA Indicom being cheated!
I've purchased a "TATA" prepaid connection on the end of March,2007. After three days I’m getting some calls from various people asking for help on their "TATA" phones. They helped me to know that my cell phone No. Had given in the advertisement by TATA TeleService all over India as a customer care officials. Phone Calls from any other Service company don’t come to my phone! Later I find that a post paid connection of my number is running by "TATA Customer Care"! So, their calls come to me and vice - versa. For this problem I’ve already faced huge loss. I’ve complained several times to them but being misguide. Now they ask me to surrender the phone, which i can't do.

False promises
I being a customer of Tata Indicom for years now never had such a problem as i m facing now. Actually the problem goes as theirs this guy from your service centre who calls up n tells me that he would cum n deliver me the debit card which would give me 3% discount on my billing. But apparently that guy hasn't turned up till now.

Wrong charges
My telephone N0. 02264505822. Bill for month of April-o7. for Rs.1020./= Bill No. 353741684. dt. 17/04/07. Rs. 96/= charged for Voice Portal Voice 12900, for 16 Units. I am paying Rs.25/= for itemized Bill every month. I am getting itemized Bill. In above referred Bill there is not a single Voice Portal is made by me and yet I am charged for 16 Units only Rs.96/= It seems that Tata Indicom is habituated to cheat public and collect lacs of rupees. In last month, in my 3 different Telephone Nos Bill, I was given a Credit Of Total Rs.334=60P. only. In above referred Bill I am charged Rs.96/= wrongly. Tata Indicom must be penalized for cheating the public.

Plan change without notice & reason
I had taken Tata Mobile with 'Unlimited free incoming' calls in the month of Nov 06. But within 5 months, my plan has been changed to only 750 minutes of free incoming. The same is a serious breach of trust as I was promised something at the time of subscribing to your services. After hooking the customer, you cannot change the basics of your plan. Further, the same has been done without any 'Written Communication' , reasons or notice from your end.

To top it all, the customer care REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE MY COMPLAINT OR GIVE ME ANY CONTACT No. OR EMAIL ID OF THE OFFICIALS TO BE CONTACTED.

I HAVE SUBMITTED MY COMPLAINT ON THEIR WEB SITE BUT HAVE STILL NOT HEARD FROM THE COMPANY
