Above land line is in Kakinada of my nephew sri.P>N> Mukundan. For the past one month we are getting " This line does'nt Exist".My nephew has complanied to TATA Indicom at Kakinada. As senior citizens we are having urgent need to communicate family matters but unable to do due to above problem

Request you to urgently look into the matter and inform action taken.

Why is tata indicom not in Guwahati
I want 2 use tata indicom but im in guwahati nd service not available there so i want the company should do something for it as it is also a part of India and want u to launch tata indicom there.

Delay in reactivation
Dear Complains Board, first of all confirm all my details as given below for your referrence:

I'd like to you bring to your attention two things.

1. There is something wrong with your HR dept since they are hiring people who have no idea how to talk to the customers and also, they dont even know how yous system works, what are the polices and procedures, etc. So, clearly you dont evenn hire the right employees and you dont bother to train them.

To let you know why i feel this, i will try to give you an account of what i have gone through in last 24 hours.

My credit Limit was Rs.2500. My current usage was Rs.2526(Billed-Rs.1615). As I am still on roaming for last two months, it was very difficult for me to pay the bill and i also visited the true value shop of Tata for the payment but they declined saying that the bill for Delhi Tata can be paid only in Delhi.

Since i exceeded my credit limit, my mobile was de-activated on 25th Sep. Then somehow I arranged a credit card from my friend and made the payment for Rs.1615( The Billed amount) around at 12:30 pm. Then I called your 121 helpline to inform that my usage was Rs.2526 and I have paid my billed amount Rs.1615. i was told that my mobile would be Re-activated within next 6 Hrs. Then I again called 121 at around 5:45 pm to know about the status of my activation. I was told at that time that my Payment of Rs.1615 has been updated but I needed to pay full Rs.2526 to get my account activated.

(why i was not told this particular requirement by your executive while I called for the first time around at 12:30 in the afternoon)If i can make a payment of Rs. 1615, i could have also paid Rs.2526.

Then I talked to your Floor Supervisor, Ms. Laxmi. She told me to make another payment of Rs.950 and to give her all the transaction details. She also committed that once i give my transaction details to them, my account will be activated in next 4 hrs. I did. I paid Rs.950 and gave all the details to ur executive(since Laxmi was not there at her desk) i submitted all my transaction details to Mr.Pradip.

That time i was given the committment that my mobile will be reactivated within next 4 hrs.(Around at 6 pm.)

Then i again called 121 at around 10:15 pm to confirm my activation. they said that the last payment of Rs.950 has not been updated and hence my mobile cant be reactivated. i told them that i can give you my transaction details of payment of Rs. 950 and my earlier discussion with Ms. Laxmi and Mr. Pradip. then i was told by Mr. Srinivas. to call delhi customer care no., i.e., 9210000121. Somehow i arranged very difficultly to call at that no also only to get the reply that i have to make another payment of Rs.1000.

I explained him that my usage is 2526 and i have already paid 2565,i.e., more than my usage so why cant u reactivate my mobile.

they said,you make a payment of Rs.1000 then only we can reactivate ur mobile.

then i again called 121, Mr. Srinivas assured me that my account will definitely be reactivated at most by the morning.

At 9 o'clock in morning, i called 121 to confirm that my a/c is not yet reactivated. Ms. Joshilla,she commiteed that it will be activated within next 3 hrs.

i again called 121 at around 12:35 pm to tell that my a/c is not yet reactivated. I was told that itb will be reactivated within next 2 hrs.

I again called at 3:30 to confirm. I was waiting till for my mobile to be activated.

then i called my friend who works in Delhi Tataindicom who finally helped in reactivating.

Can you understand the level of frustration i went through during this period, the amount of loss i sufferred as all my work has stopped due to this?

If you can, then please take some action against it.

2. If somehow you can for once tell me that even if my cellphone is activated, who will be responsible for the amount of harrassment caused to me?

Got Sick of tata indicom broadband connection
I have applied for a pre-paid connection 4 months back. Till now I haven't got the connection. I had waited for 1.5 months and then registered a cancellation request, now it is around3 months, not yet got my money back. Everyday I trying to call them, all the numbers provided by them are fake except the customer care which is located at Hyderabad, where they are not able to provide us any details other than a compliant number.

Got Sick of tata indicom broadband connection....

Delay in service
Tata Indicom Broad Band service provider claims that any request made for renewal pack will be delivered within 48 hours. But I am very unhappy to bring to your notice that this is not true. On August 26th I had placed an order for a renewal pack. When I did not get the pack within the stipulated time I kept calling them. Instead of immediate action being taken, the service provider just kept apologising and did not do much to speed up the matter. I got the renewal only after one week.
The incident was repeated again this week. The order was placed on Wedneday the 20th of September. We got the pack only on 24th evening.

I think this is not in keeping with their claim of delivering within 48 hours.
A big company like Tata Indicom should ensure that such delays are avoided

Display not working
I am very frusted with the new connection of tataindicom postpaid connection and net services of this company, which has been installed after 20 days and now the net is not working from day one and set display is not working. And there is no one to listen this complaint.

Poor costumer service
I am tata indiacom customer and having tata indicom mobile since last one year i never use to call customer care because, the line of tata customer service is always getting busy cannot contact to any customer executive.

I got sms from tata welcome ring tone of 'Don Special' on date 15.09.2006, I was interested to apply for 'Don Special', and as per the instruction the said to me select I already select. After some time i got sms for activation of caller tune but it was not from Don Special which was another old song and deducted charges. Then I send them sms to change my caller tune but they send me sms the said tune is not match for my cell phone and again they deducted charges and deduct sms charges. I got very angry and tried to call Tata customer service but since 2 hrs tried i got line but customer executive were busy for half an hrs and now i am trying to speak with them, i am getting voice that the customer line are busy. I wanted to shout at them but cannot speak.

Like that way i already fed up with this bloody tata service but cannot change because i already give my cell no. to all my clients.

Same problem with my Home Tata land line. They not send me bill since 4 months and cut my land line.

Bad service, cheating and no refund
I am existing Tata Indicom customer using land line 66936055. I received a call from the sales executive to go for Tata walky which would be beneficial to me. Therefore I went ahead and booked Tata indicom walky vide bill no. 939880 by paying cheque of Rs 898/- drawn on HDFC bank

I got a Tata Indicom walky recently (September 2006) having number 64519161. The walky was installed but could not function from the first day itself.

I had registered a series of complaints with customer care "121" but the complaint (poor voice quality at the other end of the line) remained. The complaint numbers are 48323121, 48598333, 48726629

A service engineer visited my residence and confirmed that the instrument supplied was faulty and from a old lot of instruments. Naturally I demanded a fresh piece immediately. Tata indicom maintenance department person said that they do not have stock of fresh instrument. I have requested them either to replace the instument within a day or terminate the service with refund of the amount paid.

Today again the service engineer turned up with a old repaired instrument. Therefore, he was not allowed o replace the instrument. When there is a problem with the new installation, don't you have a policy to replace the faulty instrument with a new one?

I called up the customer service 121 again to register a complaint. The executive asked me to make an application for a new instrument which will cost me Rs 1000/- again. I have a new connection and the executive asked me to apply for new instrument!! Ridiculous!!

I asked the executive to cancel my number to save my additional Rs1000/- expense. He agreed to cancel the telephone and gave me cancellation number 48923139

To save my money in future and to minimise my exposure to Tata Indicom, I asked him to cancel my existing Tata Indicom land line 66936055 as well (I am using this for the last 3 years). He agreed and gave me cancellation number 48923691.

I feel cheated by Tata Indicom and expect refund of Rs 898/- paid by me and apology from Tata Indicom

Another reason for writing this is to give feedback to other customers

Battery & speaker problem
I have purchased the TATA Indicom Set from Moradabad on 14 November 2005. And my set is in the Warranty period. But the persons in the TATA Indicom service center is not listenning my problem. Non response of dealer
My wife had purchased this LG set with Tata Indicom connection on 25.07.06. After it went blackout on 25.08.2006, the set was handed over to the dealer - M/s AIMA, 164, Bidhan Sarani Kolkata 7000006, India for repair. Though they had assured that the set will be oK within 3 working days we got it back only on 04.09.06. The woman at the shop did not demonstrate the working, saying that the phone is not having any charge left but after putting it in charge at home it would function properly. Today the phone was kept in charge and after switcing it ON - it immdtly again went blackout.

M/s AIMA is refusing to accept any responsibility now.
