Tataindicom is very fast in billing but is very slow in attending the customer complaints
1. When i purchased this device, i was told that two months free usage will be given. but from the next month onward they started sending the bills. and i kept on paying on due dates.
2. Internet speed was so slow that u can have a cup of tea between opening of the two windows.
3. No action was taken on my repeated complaints. once, due to postal delays, my bill did not reach in time. they cut disabled my device. tataindicom is charging 881/= per month for unlimited free usage for this device. but it is too slow.
4. they have given a software named speed plus, but it always gives back message like " can not detect speed plus server".
5. Following these problems i have changed my plan from unlimited usage to the minimum plan.
6. tataindicom is very fast in billing but is very slow in attending the customer complaints.

Very slow browsing speed
Very slow browsing speed. Rather than 384 kbps as intimated by them and as per my plan i am getting only 100 kbps or less speed.

I can not change the number because I am using it for last more than 2 years
TATA INDICOM has sent JUNE 2009 bill of 10590/- in which they have charged 7183/- usage ineternet which I never used.
I made three official complaints but the customer care says this you have to give as internet charges are rightly charged.
My problem is I can not change the number because I am using it for last more than 2 years.

Stay away from them
Am holding tataindicom postpaid connection no which i took from jorhat on 05 Feb 2009 and it got activated on 10 Feb 2009.The place where i have taken connection (M/S BORUAH's Gar-Ali, Jorhat) told me that for 1st two months its unlimited and after that i can choose any one of plan available which will statup automatically.Along with my form an additional acceptance of my plan has been taken by the branch where i opted for a rental plan of 325 rupees per month.The TataIndicom Shop told me that it will automatically change to 325 plan as an when my two months will be over, but Am shocked to see my 1st bill where without my knowledge and consent they have put me into unlimited plan and my bill comes to 929 rupees.
i have contected Tataindicom outlet from where i took the connection and for past 1week everyday am contacting them without any fruitful result .without customer consent they cant change my plans automatically.And for there mistake why should be a customer be suffrer and they should have informed me about any chages in advance as i have provided them with all my telephone nos and email ids along with application form.Everyday i get information about tataindicom new launches on my mailid but about my plan they never informed me.

Have to spend so much of time and efforts for simply changing a billing address
This is to inform you that I am using your service since Dec 2007, I have changed my residence from Banashankari 3rd stage to RR Nagar 5th stage. In this regard I changed my billing address details in my account thrice also for that reason I also visited one of your outlet at Kamakhaya theater Near Katerguppe from where I took the connection, I requested Mr Pandey one of your representative to do the needful, I gave him the rental agreement and change of address request but he bluntly refused to accept the documents stating that he is not authorised to accept any change of address request so will not accept the documents and I should visit head office for this matter. Then after further requesting he spoke to some one and then took the documents from me but again returned it back stating the date on agreement is not valid. Then again he put me to one of his senior who told me that I should submit my gas connection receipt along with the documents. Today when the gas connection receipt was given to him he again denied to accept it. I am really annoyed with all this and one cant spend so much of time and efforts for simply changing a billing address.

I found the tata Indicom services absolutely atrocious and poor
I applied for a Tata Indicom connection. Previously I was given a defunctive sim. After a gap of one week, running from pillar to post, my connection was rendered.My Sim Card(no-09230018577) has strangely been registered under my Companys name whereas it is my personal sim. The customer service people misbehaved with my husband when he went to surrender the card along with all the valid documents on my behalf threatening that they will keep sending the bills in my office. I want to discontinue the services and surrender my sim card. No more bills should be generated in my name henceforth. I found the tata Indicom services absolutely atrocious and poor.

Tata Indicom Internet service is a fraud
Tata Indicom Internet service is a fraud, if you are planning for a connection with this company, stay away from these cheaters, i have been cheated by the sales people, field technicians and soft spoken call center idiots.
I was promised a public ip address along with the connection and good internet speed. after installation i found out i have not been given the ip address, i called the sales guy to hear that i have have pay Rs.400 for public ip, internet speed was at it worst speed it was as good as dialup connection.
i raised a complaint to disconnect the connection, however after 2 months of waiting and calling them 48 times to be precise i havent even got a courtesy call to say hello sir we are calling from F%^&kin tataindicom...

Stay far away from
Customer service was advised about phone not working they sent a person who advised to take it to the LG service centre, who in turn declared the phone as defective & can be repaired immediately. Tata Indicom was informed about the same but they failed to do the replacement. Phone services are dsrupted since 12-11-2008.

I am finding it extremely difficult to connect with the internet
I am having a dial-up internet connection since 1999. Of late I am finding it extremely difficult to connect with the internet. Sometimes I have to make upto 5-6 attempts before I am connected. Many times after getting the connection it cuts off by itself. I made several complaints to their customer care department who practically did nothing except sweet-talk. I sent two letters to their President Mr. Shankar Prasad by courier dated 24.07.2008 and 22.08.2008 but except for some half-hearted attempts by their Service Dept., I did not receive even a written acknowledgment from their President`s office which speaks of their complete callousness towards their customers.

Each time I call they put me on hold for 30 - 40 mins and still do not respond
I got a broadband internet connection from Tata Indicom in December 2007. The problem is the internet connection is not active most of the times. They end up giving me reasons such as the switch is not working, the router is not working, problem at data center etc when i happen to call them. I could have gone for an Airtel broadband connection but it is not available in my area ( Jayanager 2nd Block)
Each time i talk to a customer care executive and i ask for their supervisor, they end up putting me on hold for 30 - 40 mins and still do not respond.
