I must say that TATA Indicom is by far one of the worst customer care organizations I know of. Having personally started my career with the house of TATA's I must say the TATA family's recent business such as TATA INDICOM have ensured that the TATA name in no longer synonymous with being one of the most customer friendly but rather a could-not-care-less money making organization with absolutely no regard for the customer as long as they are paid.
In the past few months, each time the TATA INDICOM bill has come close to its due date I start getting multiple calls from 3rd party hired hands of this spineless company TATA INDICOM asking me in harsh accusatory tones "Have you received your phone bill yet?" "Have you paid your phone bill yet". This charade goes on for days and no matter how many time I confirm with them that the needful has been done, they will not stop these harassing calls.
Lately I was a day late in paying my bill and TATA INDICOM decided to cut my outgoing calls. Now its 3 days since the bill has been paid and my repeated calls to them to reconnect are met with "it will be done right away" and yet nothing happens. Of late they have recognized my cell number and stopped taking my calls. It turns out that the hired contractors they use to call their customers don't even use TATA phone service themselves but rather IDEA phones!!! Go figure - shows just how well TATA is regarded within its own community of employees and contractors these days. Once I get my connection restored I will take whatever legal action I need to as a consumer with rights and privileges to stop this nonsense once and for all.
