Being a loyal customer of Tata I bought Tata Indigo XL Grand model in 2007. Soon after few months the car start giving me the problems. The major issue happened while we were driving with family from Lucknow to Delhi to catch flight, the first intercity travel by this car, Car brokedown in middle near Rampur. There was an oil leakage and car denies to move forward. The icing on the cake was that there was no answer by Tata Motor emergency service desk!!! After struggling for 5 hrs with this stupid machine we somehow managed to get this broken piece parked at some relative's place and took a taxi to Delhi airport and reached at nick of time to catch the flight . It was simply a nightmare!!
This was not the end, this car use to give problems now and then with oil leakage and engine noise. The car has been to Service center numerous time but there had no improvement in the condition.
Because of so many problems, we thought of doing a thorough check with all car papers as we were suspecting that a defective piece handed over to us. To our surprise, we found that this car was previously sold to someone else and later on to us.
So finally I have lodged a case in Consumer court against Ratan Tata and car dealer for selling out defective/second hand car to me having so many problems.
