Sub: Poor customer service @ M/s TAFE Access, Coimbatore reg.
Sir,
I am v.vidya sagar from trichy, tamil nadu.Very recently I booked 2 TATA indigo LX in the name of v.vidya sagar and r.jagannathan with M/s TAFE Access, Coimbatore and had a bitter experience that any loyal customer of M/s TATA Motors would never like to have if they were to consider extending the loyalty in future as this adds to my 8th car of TATA in the last 3.5 years.
The following is the stream of incidents that led to the dissatisfaction.
1. 2 Indigo LX was booked on 07/12/2009. And 2 days after the booking the dealer calls and says that the company discontinued the model
2. After a long argument the dealer agrees to give the LX model and asked us go to Chennai for delivery if it was needed on a auspicious day.
3. Having got no option we went to Chennai after double confirmation from Coimbatore office that the papers were already sent for registration, but to add to our dismay the Chennai office did not even bother to regard us and made us wait for almost 4 hours to say that papers has not yet arrived.
4. After another hard struggle, they finally said the car can be registered the next day and after 100 follow up calls they delivered the car at around 22:30 hrs.
5. That’s not the end as one of car when delivered was damaged badly on the rear right dick that it needs tinkering and painting. And it did not even bother the dealer as he continued convincing me to take delivery of the damaged car without even repairing it hurting the sentiments further of any Indian consumer who would value this kind of investment.
6. Its almost 3 days past the last incident mentioned above and the dealer has the audacity to not even call us and intimate the status of repair and the delivery status of the car.
The point to note here is that the car is bought for commercial purposes through bank loan and the I am running over the risk of paying enormous interest without any payback till date.
This has led to the serious thinking in us about the loyalty which we had till date towards M/s TATA motors.
I here by request the TATA motors to direct the dealers to do the needful to fully compensate me on the hardship encountered so far without which I will be left with no options to choose not to be anymore a loyal customer of TATAs apart from going to consumer redressal forum for justice.
I hope TATA motors will do the needful to take full care of its loyal customers and direct dealers to be more responsible towards handling all similar customers in future.
Hoping to see a positive response from TATA Motors in setting their dealers right immediately.
