The incident or you can say a accident which happened in January-2011, When I have bought my first sedan car, Tata Indigo CS from Hansraj Motors, Authorized Dealer of Tata motors at Gorakphur, I have bought the car only seeing the trust attached to the Tata brand. But the mischievisous activities done by its dealers, like mine one is continulusly damaging the trust on the company which afterall authorizes theses dealers to deal with the customers onbehalf of the company.
when my car has been handovered for third free service at Hansraj motors service center, despite the fact that my car has only run 3500Km, but to keep the gaurentee of company, it is needed to timely service your car.
The car had been handovered to my father after service at around 6pm, after keeping it for 8hrs for service, and didn't be allowed to get into service center to see his car get serviced.
Dad brought the car at home without any inspection of the car, but when the next day he saw then oberved that the new stepnee tyre was replaced with old one, all the wind screen was replaced and he was stunned to see these activities at authorized service center. What others have been replaced, noboldy knows, and yet to be establised. The dealer totally refused to accept the guilt and when complained online on the tata motors site, no complain no has been given either on mobile or email, but after giving the complain in writing, the company has given the compain no. but didn't send toinspect the car by its authourixed company personel, and gave the same malichisous Hansraj Motors, the responsibility to resolve the matter.
So, the brand value the Tata claims to have, is actually a mirage, As the cheap is its car, the brand value too.
So my call to the prospective buyers to choose the others brand like Maurti to go for their pick of cars.
