I am using Tata Photon 9205067330 from past three months. Sorry to say that I am using it, its just I am paying Rs 1100 per month for nothing. Anyways, In March 2011 I was really happy to see one of an Ad of Tata Photon;

I was in need of a mobile broadband with near about the same specifications, so I bought this device in Srinagar and the speed I was getting wasn’t more than 20 to 25KBPS while downloading or uploading any file. I thought J&K has not good connectivity and I didn’t complaint as I had to move to Delhi. But unfortunately in Delhi too I faced the same problem until 6th May when I was really shocked to see that I was not able even to get connect with internet. I contacted your customer care where I got a complaint number (264340555) and a promise to resolve the issue ASAP. I had to call more than 10times to request for sending any Junior Engineer for resolution. Even I got three fake promises to stay at home as a JE will visit at my new residence in Delhi. After talking to Executive to Sr Executives and then to Supervisors, I got a visit one of a JE who tried to change the parameters from back end and told that in my area there is a lot of connectivity problem from past few months with thousands of customers. I am not talking about Far East Delhi. I am residing in South Delhi, just Behind IIT flyover and just right beside Select City Walk Mall. It is one of the expensive places to live in Delhi, just because we people want a better service from every company where we buy anything with a lot of hopes. And my flat is not underground or at the 100th floor as you blame on poor indoor connectivity. I am being promised everyday that my problem will be resolved by next day but it seems TATA Photon is a rapidly growing SCAM with a wrong information on BOX and in Ads. Even my complaint has been closed without any resolution. One of the C-Care called me up and told me that you are getting poor indoor connectivity issue so we recommend you to change your residence or change your place to outdoor. WOW!! What a resolution!!
By the end of this month I will be asked to pay Rs1100 for this amazing service and if I don’t pay, my number will be barred and then I will be asked to pay 1st and then to get the resolution for the problem. One of your most dedicated Team Leader/Supervisor Mr Kunal assured me that my problem will be resolved within 48 Hours but its been more than 72 Hours and the only resolution I got is an Email from your side that “Your problem has been solved and thank you for using our most fucking services”.
If here in Khirki Extension more than 50 Customers has got Speed Booster Routers then why I can’t get it? Am I not paying for the services and that too at such a high cost? Am I being so soft to you? Am I being fooled to buy this device from you? Or am I not of your friend circle or of under your approach so that I can’t get the booster? Or you don’t bother if you lose a customer?
I do find the services of Tata Photon very poor and I think somewhere the complaints are not routed up the chain. There is so much publicity and hype created for the Tata Teleservices but what the system requires an ear for feedback.
I submit with all the concern in anticipation of receiving a valid response.

connection error and bad costomer care service
hello,
i cannot connect to internet for one weak now, i call costomer care nearly every day since i keep on getting this error 678, 734, 777 but i keep on getting the same respond every day that i'll get a call from the technical dept and they say that my internet will start working the next 24 hour but it never happen for a weak or more till now and they hangup the call half the conversation if they cant answer my question abt the issue i've been facing and some exicutive are very root and its not professional at all and for the Fuck sake i'm doing an umlimited plan they can just cut internet and now tata photon is jus sucking our money with out doing there work properly if we the costomer dont do anything they will keep on doing this fooling people and take our money so for the one who is reading this never go for photon it will screw so bad and rip off your fucking head

FAKE PHOTON
PLZZZZZZZ PLZZZZZZZZ PLZZZZZZZZZZ DONT BUY TATA DATA CARDS, INTERNET, TATA PHOTON ALL ARE PURE FAKES NO SPEED AT ALL ...COMPANY SHOWS THE MIN SPEED IN TATA PHOTON 3.1MBPS. AND TECHNICALLY THE SPEED E.G(3.1/8)=TOTAL SPPED. MEANS MIN NEAR APPROX 450 KBPS MIN. IN DOWNLOADING OR UPLOADING. BUT I NEVER GET SPEED MORE THEN 3-9MBPS.MAXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX .ASS HOLE COMPANY...MAKING INNOCENT PUBLIC FOOLSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...

Wrong information on the box
I was told that Tata Photon + will work for MAC by the sales person and the same was printed on the box. When I bought it and tried to install it the device never worked. I took both my Mac and the device to the service center for installation. He told me that I have to install special software for it and gave me a person number and told me that it will cost me 1500/- for installation.
When I asked them to give me a device that works he tells me that I have to buy a new one. I asked him what to do with the old one. He told me that I can sell it and take a new one. Do you think I am paying you for selling your sh#t to other people.
Now the second problem. Now I bought a new PC. I lost all the documents which came with the device. And when I went to recharge this device they tell me that I can’t recharge until I find out my number. And they don’t have any way of finding out my device number…

WRONG DETAILS PROVIDED BY DEALER

My name is Roshani and my tata photon number is - 9223960924 and it is
activated on 12 of november but it is deactivated with in four days when
I went your tata gallary they told me that my limit is over but when I
was buying your photon on that time the dealer is simply told me that
(if I download more then 400 MB ) u will charge but he did not tell me
that u will charge for net surfing also.i was not knowing that and that
dealer had already accepted that he is not explain me all and I also
logged a complain and my complain no is = 243419517 and I informed your
people to not close my complain without my confermation then also my
complain got close .

non delivery of device
My name is Priyanshu Goyal and my contact number is 9867427087. I booked a tata photon postpaid internet connection on 2nd September, 2010. My application number for the same is 3161070. The person (name: Mr. Hemant) promised me that the device would be delivered to me within six days after booking the connection. I have to say regretfully that even after 12 days my device has not been delivered to me. I have checked my bank account statement and it is showing that my cheques have already cleared on 9th September, 2010. I have called the customer care service 1800266121 several times and each time they reply that your problem will be rectified within 24 hours. I wonder if Tata have a different scale of time beacuse 120 hours have elapsed since I complained in their customer service centre but of no avail. when I try to call this guy Hemant, he does not pick up my phone. I request everybody who is reading this forum not to trust Tata and never buy their product because they will cheat you and harass you.
