My wife's tata safari, reg no HR 16 H4758 was admitted to CPL motors, Pathankot an authorised service centre after having met with an accident on 03 Jun 2010. She was assured that since the insurance firm, National Insurance has an affiliation with Tata Motors, India and hence contacting them would be done on the service centre's behalf. Paucity of time did not allow us to have a look at the progress but upon calling Mr Baldev Singh we were told about the progress of work. Initialy we were told that the car shall be ready by 05 Jun 2010.The date was postponed every time we called up.Finally when we decided to have a look at the car on 11 Jun 2010, we discovered that the repairs had not even begun, even the liasion with the insurance agency to start the job at their end (taking pics) had not been carried out.Need less to mention what a waste of time it has been and what severe inconvinience it has caused us wihout our car due the lackadassical attitude of the employes at the aforesaid service centre.
We expect the matter to be taken seriously and action as deemed fit to be taken against the dealer/ staff at CPL motors, Pathankot.
