Rude behaviour and no service
We started facing no signal problem in our Tata Sky from Monday afternoon. We lodged a complaint with Tat sky customer care on Monday with a promose to us that the problem will be fixed in 24 hours. The technician did come to our residence at 3pm on Tuesday. He check the Tata sky, took out all the cables from the dish antenna and then said that the dish has to be shifed a bit upwards to get proper signal for which he wanted a big ladder which was arranged on rent by US immediately. The technician, Suresh Kumar then went to attend another residential problem promising us to return by 5pm. He never retrurned. However, we kept calling him with no response. Finally at 7pm he picked up the phone and said he cannot do anything as he is going home. I then called the Tata Sky customer service number and lodged another complaint. Spoke to Ms Parineeta, who claimed to be the senior team leader who apologised profusely and promised that the technicians are in vasant kunj only and will fix the problem by 8 pm positive on tuesday nightr as its just a 10 minute work. At 8:30 pm I called her agfain as nobody had come till then to fix the problem. I was told by Edward Edwin and the next sr team leader that Ms Parineeta has left and that its very unfortunate that the problem has still not been fixed and promised to call back with a solution. 15 hours have passed since then with no call and no technician visit at our residence.
On Sunday, 10th July, I have submitted the payment for tata sky for four months. I need Consumer forum to take up the matter seriously for all the stress that we have been going through by continuosly calling the customer care for tata sky with no results for 48 hours and rude obnoxious behaviour of the tat sky team. I NEED FULL PAYMENT OF TWO CONNECTIONS THAT WE HAVE AT HOME AND FULL PAYMENT THAT WE HAV DONE SO FAR TO TATA SKY.

IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR
THINK 100 TIMES BEFORE GOING FOR TATA SKY
TATA SKY PEOPLE ONLY WANTS NEW CLIENT AND FEOR RXISTING CLIENTS THEIR SERVICE IS BIG ZERO RATHER NEGATIVE. SO IF YOU ARE THINKING OF NEW DTH CONNECTION READ THE FOLLOWING AND DECIDE OTHERWISE YOUR LIFE WILL BE ZINGALALA I.E. FROM PILLAR TO POST.
Unfortunately I am tatasky customer with I.D.1000565364.My DTH was not working since last 6 days and all my efforts to get it replaced went in vain.The details are as under:-
On 9th July 2011 I called up customer care centre and spoke to one Mr.. Suresh and explained the problem. He guided me through various solutions and ultimately concluded that my DTH box needs replaced. He assured me that within 24 hour engineer will come and do the needful.But till today no body has appeared.
As no body came till 48 hours of my complaint I called again on 11/07/2011 at customer care center and spoke to Mr.Kiran. He wanted another 12 hours for the replacement. I then spoke to his senior Mr.Mahendra at the same time and he promised me that replacement will be done on 12/07/2011 before 10.00 AM.The same result as that of my complaint of 9/07/201r..
On 12/07/2011 again in the evening when I contacted tatasky, I spoke to ms. Mamta and later on to her superior mr.harsh. Mr. harsh promised me to cal back within 1 hour.After 1 hour somebody called me again and was asking for more time.
This is the way those people are attending complaints, for which we are charged, reminds me of the Govt. offices of old days. I am without TV. since last 6 days ad therefore reminding the people to think 100 times before going to tatasky,

Failure to install Tata Sky connection since 8days
Myself Miss Feba Geevarghese, had booked Tata Sky connection on 2.7.11. My i.d. is 1068544350. Till date nobody has turned up to install the connection despite repeated requests. If even before any installation, this is their service, then after installation if something goes wrong and I call them up, they may take ages to even turn up. Will I be expected to wait and wait for things to be fixed up? Such sad state of affairs!

change of set box
we have been trying to contact tata sky people since 29th June for the replacement of digicom and every time their executive and senior executive assuring us to change the same, but till 2nd July'11 by evening it has not been replaced, It is sorry state of affairs of such a reputed company, where they are not providing services to its customers.

relocation not done
i had reqeusted for relocation of tata sky connection as i was transferred from goa to mumbai
GAve reqeust on 12.06.2011. It was promised that it will done in 72 hours.
But today is 20.06.2011. No engineer visited.

BOX NOT INSTALLED IN TEN DAYS
TATA SKY SI A FAKE COMPANY, THEY DONT EVEN HAVE AN OFFICE IN DELHI. IF YOU FACE AANY PROB, EVERYTIME THEY USED TO ISSUE YOU WITH A NEW COMPLAINT NUMBER FOR THE SAME EXISTING PROBLEM, NO ONE IS RTEADY TO LISTEN ANYTHING IN CO. THE STAFF WAS NOT TRAINED ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND ANYTHING.
I HAVE REQUESTED FOR RELOCATION OF MY BOX AND IT TOOK APPROX TEN DAYS FOR THEM TO COME AND FIX THE DISH. FOR THE SAME PROBLEM I HAVE 6 COMPLAINT ID.
IF U R PLANNING FOR SET TOP BOX, THEN PLS DONT EVERRRR GO FOR TATA SKY. EVEN IF THEY OFFER YOU FREE SUBSCRIPTION ... MANY OF THE TATA SKY ENG NUMBERS ARE OUT OF SERVICE

Fraudulent Transaction on Credit Card
Be careful while recharging your tata sky account online. They have fraudulently charged my credit card WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. Now when I try to contact the customer care, people dont respond. They say that the software updation is going on or the system is down and they cannot pull out any records, etc.
EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND PATHETIC SERVICE!!!
Take Care while dealing with these morons!!!

CHANNEL CHANGE
WRITING THIS COMPLAINT, I AM EXTREMELY FURIOUS ABOUT THE WAY TATA SKY IS TREATING 3 year OLD CUSTOMER.
I HAD RECENTLY CHANGED MY PACKAGE AND SINCE I HAVE TATA SKY PLUS ALL MY RECODINGS HAVE BEEN DELETED.NOBODY HAD INFORMED OF THE SAME, AND ON CALLING TATA SKY FOLKS 15 TIMES IN SPAN OF 30 MINUTES, EACH TIME ALL PPL(FROM TECHNICIAN's TO SUPERVISORS) ARE DISCONNECTING THE CALL.
AND WRITING THIS COMPLAINT IS THE LAST RESORT I SEE, SINCE I AM NOT ABLE TO TALK TO ANY ONE.
THIS IS THE LAST RESORT FOR ME AND NEXT TIME I WILL NOT BE CONTACTING TATA SKY
FOR THIS MATTER.
LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND ITS UR RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE SOME ONE TALK TO ME.

Drop of Channel Package
One month back I have found that am opted for two optional packages in my Tata Sky Account. I have asked the customer care executive to drop these two packages and he replied positively. But I found it very annoying to see these packages still on TV and I checked my account status again. Both the packages are not dropped and they are still charging for those.
I have checked their website for half an hour to find an option to send a complaint to them. But that too was found to be very difficult, since the options for complaint are pre set.

relocation request not materialised even after 10 days. spent more than Rs.100 on phone calls to customer service. Tried to contact floor supervisor at least 10 times. but not responded. poor service. high costs. not bothered about customer
