to change the plan
sir my name is ajay raj singh i connect to tata internet service for last 2 months. i want to change my post paid plan into pre paid plan bcoz the out let which is situated in udaipur the owner say's that there is no pre paid plans in tata indicom. plz solve my problems as soon as possible

cheating and harasment
First cheated me by supplying the wrong model.
Misbehaved by the manager (lady), did not reveled her name.
Did not change my phone, after repeated phone calls.
Excessive billing could not be solved by your personals.
Sub-standard Chinese walky, out of order since 4 months. Could not be repaired till date.
phone retained by them since 2 month.
Every day harassing call by different people for bill 600, which is not my due.
Bill paid sincerely till the phone was working (excessive).
Pl stop these nonsense call

poor network coverage
Tataindiocm is giving the worst service in my area at Garia, Kolkata-47.I am having very poooor network coverage in my home, at Garia, Kolkata though it is only 5 minutes walk from the main road still the signal strength is really very bad.Sometime i even have 0 signal .I had mailed at the customer care regarding it also have talked to the nodal officer Mr.Santosh Singh and they sent me a sms that my problem has been solved and i should check my handset at any authorized service center, but i am getting this problem in my two other handsets and many people from our locality are facing same problem.Still they are doing nothing...and it is really against their advertisement that no hello hello..can any one help me regarding it??

broadbandconnection
i am not at all satisfied with the performance.oftenbroadband connection is gettingdisconnected.customer service is very poor.even during deepavali, the connection got disconnected, whereas other companies'sconnections are working good.

Asking to check number
I'm a customer of TataIndicom with 2 connections from last two years. When I try to my home number, it's asking me to check the number once again. I'm unable to make/receive calls from that home number. When I contact the customer care, they were saying it will be resolved in 18 hours, daily. It's been nearly 7 days, but issue hasn't resolved.
Sending mails to nodal officers, customer care and all... but no use.
To whom I need to contact?

Frequent interruption of broadband
Whether you get connected to broadband or not, contacting tataindicom's toll free number 1800 209 7070 is almost a daily affair. The customer(don't) care or customer(dis)service know nothing beyond saying 'inconvenience is regretted'. It looks like a man walking on the street naked and still feeling good. Is it broadband or narrowest band? The first principle is marketing is to 'know thyself'. Besides this, you should know more about competitors. Compare Tataindicom's tariff with other competitors. You will find that in all aspects, competitors do better. If 'fools have to learn by their own experience' tataindicom refuse to learn despite faced with problems. God save Tataindicom.

Let me narrate my wonderful experience to you. Hope this would be displayed somewhere in your office.
Well what to say !!!!
I tried to connect to the internet on 30th November 2007 and lo there came this error message with the number “ERROR 678”
As your humble customer I contacted your customer service center at 8.00 pm and reported the incident (Ticket # 4239290). As it was my lucky day I was assured by your Customer Service Representative that my issue would be fixed within 24 HRS.
I was so happy with your customer service that I recommended Tata Indicomm to my friends and they all vouched to take up the subscription.
Alas my luck ran out, I never received any call from your end till today and it was me who kept calling you.
Every time I got a reply that “My Issue has been prioritized and it would be fixed within 24 HRS”.
I spoke to Krishna and John on 5th December 2007 and then again on 13th December 2007 to Mythili and Rajesh.
For your reference mentioned below is the screen shot of my error message:-
You may be very glad to know that I have faced this problem from the time I became your valuable customer. Must be a record of some sorts.
Will I be able to connect to internet and mind my business instead of praising your team ?
Would appreciate a quick revert for this atleast.

faulty instrument
my tata indiacom no. 9217158688 (pco)located at AT- post - Tambedi, taluka - sangmeshwar, district - Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, register on the name of Mr. Santosh S. Ichale.
Sir/Madam,
My above mentioned tatalephone register on dated 21/05/07, within one year our telephone instrument start getting problem. so I request you to give me the Tataindicom service Telephone no. and address near to my above mentioned adresss.
The Tataindicom agent - Habiba communication, Telephone no. 02354252854 not responding and tacking to change my faulty instrument.
