I am a young boy who has a savings account at TD Bank. Over the years, I've saved over $900! As a kid, i was very excited. The next time I went to deposit some money, the amount in my account was actully less then the amount I had even BEFORE my next $260 deposit. I had $720 at first, then after my $260 deposit, I had only ????????$705??????? i dont under stand this!

I did receive the green book. It was basically "...bla bla bla we are adding new fees including maintenance fees bla bla bla..." Because of that, I went to the Newark, DE branch on Jan 29 and closed all three of my business accounts which all had zero balance. Comes Feb, 1st. All three account got charge the $25.00 maintenance fees taking the balances to -$25.00. I have been demanding since then that the accounts be closed to no avail, maintenance AND overdraft fees keep coming. I have filed complains with the BBB, FTC and Delaware Bank commission and I am waiting to see how it goes. Yes I would love to be part of a class action lawsuit and put that bank out of business but unfortunately, the chances of that happening are slim.

TD Bank allows large transactions to be paid under the guise of overdraft protection. This allows them to collect hundreds of dollars in fees of subsequent smaller transactions. This is in effect theft as there is no recourse to dispute these charges.

I RECENTLY GOT HIT WITH A SERVICE FEE $15 and that made 2 purchases go negative by $4.45 total. so i called. They reversed the $15 since it was the first time ive seen it but, it was in the "green Book" sent out in Aug of 09, but I opened my acct in Jan 09. So the fee is for not keeping 100 bucks in my account on closing date. Well jack said too bad that even tho they reversed it the 2 purchases still went negative march 3rd. so now 2 hours later im looking at negative 70 dollars and for the cup of coffee this morning when I was still positive after the reversal of $15 I will be assessed another $35 so in total $105 worth of fees over something that i couldnt predict coming. Jack was real helpful - NOT. I wonder how many single moms have to look at their account to make sure 100 bucks is still there or eat a $15 fee when they need formula for their kid. And what if it puts them negative like me. Real fair, where do the fees go? They dont even offer a "free" checking like they claim. The lowest account charges $3 a month. Im gettin a lawyer. F TD

I woke up this morning to find an email alert from TD Bank. So I logged into my account to find I had an overdraft of 138.00. I knew my account was low but I saw sure i still had money in the account. After a review of the account I found $140 .00 of over draft fee's. How can they get away with that? Dose any know a good bank that I can do my baking with?
