Through Facebook (YES I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER) I ordered a trial of 2 bags of loose tea and what was supposed to be a steel travel mug for $2 shipping. This was the beginning of October. I received my shipment in just a few days and thought I was pleased until I opened it. I not only rcvd tea flavors that I had not requested, but 2 ceramic mugs, one of which was pulverized in shipment.

I called the number on the sheet that was enclosed and while I was on hold, I checked my bank card charges to find that 2 days after the $2 was charged I had gotten charged $39.85 for another shipment and another was pending. I asked to speak to a supervisor and got Beverly Simmons..I hope that is her real name! She apologized and stated that my refund woudl be credited as soon as the charges were finalized. I calle dmy bank and had them try to call to Tea Francis to rescind the pending charges and "Beverly" had no idea what a merchant number was and refused to speak to the bank.

I was told I would get my refund and it would take a few extra days since there was a holiday Monday coming up. I let it slide and asked for written confirmation of the refund and was told that "we don't write anything anymore, this is the internet age." Really???

I wasn't too optimistic, but thought, maybe.

3 weeks go by and I call again and ask for Ms. Simmons and was told that there was an "internal issue" and the refund was to be processed immediately. That was 11 days ago. She also said that the internal issue was none of my concern. A few inappropriate choice words were relayed to her and I was assured that the money was on it's way. I tried to call earlier today and the number (866-794-2030)actually rang 33 times and then a recording came on that stated " The mobile subscriber you are trying to reach is unavailable, please try again later"

With no paper trail, I have no idea what else to do, I have heard that the BBB and State attorney in ILL can help, but we will see.

As for the "internal issue" I guess that was them helping me stick my own head up my own a$$ for falling for this.

TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE! They advertise on most ZYNGA games on FB as well. BEWARE
