Hi. I ordered and paid for an UMPC Vaio UX1XN on April 28th 2011.The item was described as “like new” and included “all accessories”. The seller has sent pictures of the item. At first payment via VISA did not work at the seller’s web site, after which the seller asked me to do the payment through a bank transfer. The seller confirmed the payment on May 10th 2011 and said will send the item ASAP. The item was to be shipped to Finland. On May 23th 2011 the seller sent me a tracking number, which was for a product posted on May 11th 2011 and was delivered in NETHERLANDS on May 17th 2011. On June 5th 2011 the seller sent me proof of posting for an item posted on June 2nd 2011 with destination to Finland. On June 7th 2011 I received the item. The items I got were not as described. The computer I got actually was not the same as the one showed in the pictures sent by the seller. The computer I got had hardware problems (CF port did not work) and had visible signs of damage and the port replicator was missing. I sent pictures of all items to the seller. The seller insisted that the computer was the same as offered, he has altered the pictures so I could have a good view of the item, it was fully working when sent and he has sent the port replicator. The seller told me that they can’t take back used products and asked me to report the damages and fill in a form for claim for damages at my local post office. On June 8th 2011 I made a report of damages and claim for damages at my local post office. At the post office the staff made the following observations: the package was not damaged, in fact it was in excellent conditions; the package weight with all contents inside was the same weight as the one stated at the local post office in the UK, and the package content was protected by bubble plastic. In the decision the post office staff stated that: according to the law and the above facts there is no probe that the reported damages occurred in transit; because the weight of the package was the same as the one reported at the local post office in the UK, there was no evidence that the docking station was sent in the first place and, accordingly, no compensation was granted. On June 16th 2011 I asked the seller for full refund, to which up to date he has not answered. In total I have exchanged some 200 e-mails with the seller. I hope my experience and complaint will help people to avoid making businesses with ketechnology, technologyke or Kelighting, websites run by Keiron Earnshaw, 26 Allendale st Colne BB8 0BG, Great Britain,
