Teds Auto Sales in Glen Burnie is a complete rip off!!! NEVER BUY FROM TED!!! READ BELOW TO SEE WHY!! I purchased a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am for my son in June 2009. I paid $3200 CASH for the car and an extra $500.00 for the "extended warranty" as it was my son’s first vehicle and I wanted to insure he was covered for any future problems. I called Ted in August, October and November as I had never received a policy and he assured me not to worry the policy was issued and he DID talk to warranty Company to verify I was covered!!

In December 2009 the engine blew up on the vehicle. I called the warranty company to file a claim ---- to my surprise there was NO policy every issued!! Ted had actually pocketed the $500.00 and never sent in my paperwork. The warranty company did tell me that it wasn't to late and that Ted could go ahead and pay the $500 and send in the paperwork and they will cover me BUT Ted DID'NT do that!!!

He promised he would fix the problem!! Ted picked up the auto in Dec 2009 and promised to make all right and put in an engine ASAP... After numerous phone number and the purchase of another vehicle for my son as he needs to get back and forth from school and work I am still without resolution with Ted.

It is almost April 2010. He has NOT fixed the car OR given me back the $500 I paid for the warranty or the money I paid for the car. Basically I gave Ted $3700 in June and haven't anything to show for it. I am in the middle of filing all the case through the attorney general office and the courts system but through all should know what a SCAM TEDS AUTO SALES is!!
