Without knowing that I was charged twice in a month for a sample kit that was suppose to cost only $4.99. I was charged $78.93 on May 31 2009 and $83.92 on 15th June 2009. I was shocked when I received my credit card statement on 2nd July 2009. Immediately I called the company and a woman picked up the call. I asked why I was charged so much money for a tiny tube of toothpaste. I told her that this is not something I want and I have not even used. She told me that I am not allowed to cancel the services cause it was past 14 days. I told her that no letter or printed material were included in the kit, explaining that within 14 days you have to called up to cancelled. She then tell me that they will continue charging me $83.92 every month onwards. And then she hang-up the phone on me. Yesterday, I check my credit card account and sure enough they charge me again for $83.92. And again in my mail box, a parcel was delivered to me from Advanced Wellness Research. I immediately sent it back to them . So far I have returned all the parcel to them.
I hope someone will step in and stop them from taking more money from innocent victim.
