I bought a Tektronix 2465B (or so I thought) from Alexander Schonfeld, dba OSCILLOSCOPES, ETC. in Antioch California. Ebay id "2465b"

I paid $1270 + $180 postage, total $1430.

I discovered that inside, he had exchanged the main motherboard with that of a modified 2445B (much inferior and less capable model), and did not advise me of the change, before purchase.

The machine performs in a much inferior manner to that which it should, if it had been a real-honest-to-goodness 2465B.

I requested a partial refund of $800 (the difference reflecting that which a 2445B is generously worth), OR a full refund and I return the unit; he (not politely) refused.
