I tried to order the Pasta Boat online. I ordered what I thought I wanted and then went to proceed to checkout. At that point, it asked if I wanted to upgrade to the DELUXE version. I mistakenly clicked yes. I then went back and clicked NO. It did not take the second submission. I was anticipating my order to be between $25 and $30. To my surprise I was billed $117.90. It didn't as to confirm my order it simply processed it.
I called immediately and was told they could not do anything on the weekend and that I would need to call back on Monday.
I called Monday and was told it was not yet in the system and they could not cancel the order. They put a "note" on it to hold the order and asked that I call back in 24-48 hours to cancel the order.
I called back Wednesday morning and was told the order had been processed and it could not be canceled.
Finally, the customer service representative gave me a number so I could return it for a full refund. (The website said they would refund your order minus shipping and handling which would be $27.96 for their mistake.) I told the representative I was previously lied to regarding my ability to cancel the order, so I wasn't sure I could believe him either.
I'm hoping it will work out, but from the looks of the number of complaints on this site alone, I'm not very confident.
Don't order from them!
