Someone stole my atm number some way and was charging things to my account. I discovered this on Mon. 08/13/07. I went to my bank and filed a fraud complaint and they returned all NSF and charges to my account. They had to send a check back that I had written at Walmart. TeleCheck is the ones that take care of Walmarts returned checks. I called TeleCheck to explain what happened and I asked if they would send the check back through. I was told they never send a check back through twice. I asked what I should do and I was told that I need to fill out a Forgery Affidavet that they would email to me. I asked how long it would be after they got the Forgery Affidavet back would it take for them to send the check back through. I was told 7-10 business days. I filled out the paper they emailed to me and was ready to fax it back the next day. I went ahead and wrote a check to pay some bills since the money was in my checking account and I had been told that the Walmart check would not be run back through until 7-10 days after the paperwork was returned. My disability check was going in on Wensday and the money would be in there for the Walmart check then. Guess What!!!!! Telecheck sent the Walmart check back through on Tuesday and I have $175.00 of NSF's that my bank says is Telechecks responsibility to pay. Telecheck said they needed a letter from my bank stating this and they would pay the NSF's for me. Well I called to let them know that the bank had written the letter and all the other paperwork would be sent back with it. I was treated very rudely and told that they would not pay anything. They basically told me to go screw myself. I explained to them that I am on a fixed income with disability and I dont make much a month.
