Found a charge on my Frontier Phone Bill for enhanced long distance services, they could not tell me what it was, I was told to call the number on the bill. Called this number and was transfered to 800-339-3912 and talked to Johathon who told me I had signed up for unlimited long distance in exchange for grocery coupons. They had an old email address, a birthdate that was 30 years off, and a wrong mother maiden name. He told me he would issue a refund, however it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles. The phone company basically said too bad, but you can block all these outside charges. I did even though my refund will be blocked also. Telephone services refused to send me a check because they "don't do that" When I googled the number I got to this web site, but the number was associated with another company name.
This is a scam, and I wonder how many people don't examine their bill and just pay these services.
