Nov 5th 2009 I became aware of a new staff at the Westlake Village Branch.
The new "Assistant Manager" Marie lacks any professionalism. Her customer service skills are way below standards (at best). I have been coming to this bank for over 6 years and have never experienced anything but the best... until today.
Marie completely embarrassed me and did so very loudly. I then went to another teller in the bank and while I was walking over to that teller, she yelled to him that he was NOT ALLOWED to help me. He of course had much better judgment and was completely professional and of course helped me right away. Marie is supposed to be his boss and even he didn't listen to her.
It is very sad that in today's economy, when people are in need of jobs, someone like Marie even has a position in customer service. Telesis is a small bank, they can't afford to get a single bad review, especially with the technology we have today...word spreads quickly.
I am filing a formal complaint with the VP of the bank and hopefully I will be able to post a follow up that is in favor of the bank. I will be more detailed about the situation and what exactly the assistant manager did in my next post, until then I hope she doesn't try to embarrass or discriminate against you...I would suggest avoiding her and just wait for another teller!
