I secured credit card processing equipment from TermNet in 2-07 and when it arrived, there was no information or instructions with the machine. I have never used a credit card machine before and when I used it for the first time I monitored my checking acct to watch for the deposit and it was never put in. Since I don't have any instructions on the machine, I called customer service and they told me what to do to fix the problem. I told them I didn't have any booklets or instructions and they told me some should have been sent out but I didn't need any anyway because I could just call them to get answers. I run a business and can't stop in the middle of lunch service or the middle of a cake to call customer service to get an answer. I need a representative or at the very least a book to tell me what to do. They offer neither. I requested they cancel my service and they want to charge me $250.00 to cancel my contract. I do not feel it is fair for them to charge me a hefty monthly charge or a $250 penalty to do shoddy business with them. They refused to provide a solution to my problem so I secured another source and have received excellent care. I am reporting them for unfair and illegitimate means of acquiring funds from their customers and I would like to see it resolved by releasing me from my contract without the $250.00 penalty.
