I understand that you wish to have zero errors selling cigarettes to minors. That policy is all well and good. My complaint is not that you insist on having your customers who are obviously well over 18 years show an i.d. upon sale of cigarettes but now your sales people expect you to announce your age outloud! Are you kidding me????? Your sales clerk just looked at my i.d.. If they've had any education they should be able to tell me how old I am. They should at the very least be able to figure out if I am indeed over 18. I would think your clerks should at least be able to tell someone in their 50's from someone in their teens! Come on, your policy of telling the clerks the customer must state their age after they've looked at your id is ridiculous! I have no intension of announcing my age to the entire store! I even had one clerk tell me "well you don't have to tell the truth". Oh really? Then what is the point? I will drive miles out of my way to buy cigarettes elsewhere rather
than go through that upsetting uneccesary hassle just to buy a pack of cigarrettes. Do you want my business or not?
