The 28th of March will be one year since I purchased a 2008 Mitsibushi Eclipse from Terry Reid Kia in Cartersville. I had a 2007 Sorento which we leased and the lease was up Dec. 1, 2008. They were aware of this at the time I purchased the eclipse. The guys there were all so nice while I was purchasing the car, Sugar wouldn't melt in their mouth. They KNEW they shouldn't take the Sorento because of the lease but I was assured that they would take care of the remainder of payments, It would not be a problem as long as I purchased the eclipse right then, If I decided to wait until tomorrow the 29th or so the deal would not be the same. The salesman showed me the a paper that said he would make $3000.00 commission on that car. When the sales manager came back from vacation and we finally spoke with him, he said the salesman did not make that much money off the purchase of the eclipse. Bells were ringing and all kinds of excitement when the other sales people found out he had sold that car?! Still to this day, March 24, 2009 we are still getting a bill from the lease company, also from a collection agency for $308.18, on the Sorento. We have spoke to the dealership every time we receive a bill and they assure us it has been taken care of?? Some one is lying and has been since I purchased the car from them. The car leaks around the driver's window, the power supply does not work, the radio screen says, "E Com". I emailed and spoke with them about service and the girl said they were in the process of moving to Cartersville from Rome and it would be approx. 3 weeks or so before she could schedule service. That as far as the radio I would have to contact Sirius even though my book that came with the car says if your radio says "E Com" to do this? We have had it with this dealership and if this goes against our credit they will be hearing from us in a legal way. The lease company says they Knew exactly what they were doing, that I had been taken advantage of. I am a woman and was there without my husband. He was on the phone with the salesman and they made a deal otherwise I couldn't have purchased the car without my husband's consent.
