Texas Auto Direct Reviews

fraud and scam
My husband and I flew from Alabama to Texas to pick up a car purchased online from Texas Auto Direct. When we got to the dealership they informed us that they had lost the key to the BMW Z 4 we purchased. Then they offered to purchase plane tickets for us to fly home since BMW couldn't remake a key for 3 days. We agreed until they offered another car at the same price. A BMW 325CI convertible. We fell in love with the car and agreed to the purchase. We traded the car a year later and found out TEXAS AUTO DIRECT had sold us a car that had been wrecked and it was not disclosed. After several messages to the general manager, we are still waiting on a return call. We lost almost $5, 000 on the car since it had been wrecked!! They run a SCAM!!!

2009 gmc truck
I bought a 2009 gmc truck with 2, 800 miles yes 2, 800 miles from texas auto direct sight un seen except pictures which we know everything looks good in pictures. I grilled these guys about the condition of the vehicle and they said its like new and they go over every vehicle and make sure its right. Ok how much could be wrong with a vehicle with 2.800 miles. Dax the fat ass con man...sorry I mean salesman said there was a couple of little door dents and we have fixed them. They delivered the truck yesterday and it looked like shit. The inside was dirty, greasy with dog hair all over the interior. There was little dents basically all over the vehicle and two spots they repaired, one was one the tailgate that looked like a kid with bondo and paint played back there. The other was near the front fender well and over spray was all up in the fender well on the black plastic. Their body people are nothing short of stupid illeterate mexicans and it shows. I spent all day cleaning and detailing and kicking myself in the ass for not doing my home work on these con men. I have not yet called them, and it would not matter if they sent my money back I just want to warn others about people that do business like this. I could have paid a couple of thousand more dollars and bought a brand new truck. People don't fall for this con job. These people only deal in bad autos and try to sell them in pictures. I have been doing business with ebay for about 5 years with over a hundred buys and have only left bad feed back once. I don't like to complain but this needs to put an end to con men such as these.

Ripped off- Car not as claimed
Bought a car from them after seeing on EBAY. They claimed it was certified ...turned out it has cost me almost $ 2, 800 in repairs in the last 3 months... had brake problems, a rotted tire, computer prblems, etc...a total rip off and they will do nothing about it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM...YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!
