I recently shipped a car via TexBiz Carries from Florida to Oregon and was less than pleased with their service. It started as a bid through Uship.com (which was a huge mistake) that was picked up by TexBiz. I had requested an enclosed trailer for a non-operational car. TexBiz gave me a price for the haul and pushed for a confirmation. When I received the paperwork via email I noticed it was for an open trailer and called them back. They could get it on an enclosed trailer for $400 more, 'they didn't notice that' in the original info. When I got the revised paperwork and read through it there was an additional $250 charge for a non-operational car. I called again and asked if that was in addition to the original amount or if it was included. Again they 'didn't notice that' in the original info but said they would waive the fee. After paying their deposit, I was told we would pay the driver $1000 on delivery. Pick up in Florida was scheduled for Nov. 5th, then pushed back to the 6th. They finally showed on Saturday, Nov. 7th at 10:30pm! This is nice quiet neighborhood and they had to leave the truck running for the hydaulics and move 2 other cars off and back on and were banging ramps and tie downs until 11:45. And the drivers appeared to be a father and son from eastern Europe and barely spoke english.
When the car was to be delivered they called and wanted to know if we had the $1125 for them. I went off when they wanted another $125 more than I had been quoted but it was the only way they would leave the car. Of course they called on Saturday the 14th and I couldn't reach TexBiz so I had no choice but to pay to get my car. I left a message with TexBiz and they finally called me on Monday afternoon. They did refund my money, but it took about 5 days and much arguing. Avoid Texbiz.
