Customer Service
My friends and I decided to go to this restaurant after the movies yesterday. One of my friends is a Gulf War veteran that has lost his leg and is in a wheel chair until he is fitted for his prosthetic leg. I walked in and spoke with the front area person and explained our need for a table that would sit 6 people with one being in a wheel chair. She proceeded to try to sit us in the very back of the restaurant in tables that were not together. This is understandable if the restaurant was packed and there were no areas to seat 6 people. There were areas to seat all of us but they were not offered. We left. This is my first and last time in a TGI Fridays restaurant and I will be telling many of my friends about our experience.
IT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO TREAT ANYONE LIKE THIS, LET ALONE A MILITARY SERVICE MEMBER THAT HAS GIVEN SUCH A SACRIFICE LIKE HE HAS!!!

terriable customer service
A friend of mine and myself went to get a salad and wings. He didnt have ID to drink but I did. I ordered my drinks but the waitress kept moving my drinks across the counter top. After getting my food, I moved my drinks to make way for my food, she came pass and moved my drinks again. I hadnt even drank out of them, by this time, I'm feeling uncomfortable and asked her to get a manager because I didn't want the drinks. The manager came out (Michael Clapp) and was rude and insisted I pay for everything. I told him I didnt touch them and Jill, my waitress kept moving my drinks around and I didn't want them. He call 4 patrol cars and humiliated me in front a dinning room full of guest. Ran my credit card wrong and asked me to give him my social and a copy of my drivers liscence. Finally after a hour and being threaten with jail time, I sent a friend to the ATM to withdrawl cash to pay the entire bill. Never have I been treated in this manner! stay away from Short Pump TGI Fridays unless you are ready to be harrassed and embarrassed!

VERY Bad Bad service
Wow, lets see, where do I start! My friends and I decided to go in to this location at fridays to have dinner. It took Adam, our server about ten minutes to arrive at our table. He didnt greet us, had no eye contact with us and NO Pen or Paper to write our order down. The last we checked as a server you are to have all of the above, first good impressions get you better tips ...someone should tell him that.I orderd the cheesecake WITH the strawberry, one of my friend's had the ceaser seared salmon, and my other friend had the three cheese chicken sizzling skilet which he specified with EXTRA CHEESE AND PEPPERS! The food arrived not by Adam but a server who seemed in a rush, twenty minutes later... no extra cheese or peepers. Then after five minutes my dessert came with no strawberry as specified and the cheesecake looked half eaten and old.So we asked Adam who didnt approach our table right away was just passing by, I asked "excuse me, but is this the right dessert that I ordered because it says here it comes with the strawberry and the chocklate sauce is supposed to be on the top, not next to the dessert, right ?" He looked at me like I was an idiot, and replied back, "I dont know thats a good question" and he stayed quiet, and I told him Okay, can we get the strawberries ? He walked awy with my dessert and didn't come back for the next seven minutes .When I got the dessert it looked real funny if you know what i mean it looked worse than the first time around...then we asked the same server if he can go and ask Adam if the Skilit that my friend had ordered had Extra cheese and Peppers because ADAM WAS PAYING MORE ATTENTION TO THE TABLE NEXT TO US ABOUT EIGHT NON COLORED PEOPLE AND REFUSED TO ANSWER OUR QUESTION.I asked to speak to the manager right away.KIM who was the manager aprroched our table, and asked what was wrong. So we told her of the situation, she didn't seem apologetic, remorsful or that she cared enough for her customers! I told her about the desset and she said" I will take it away" didn't mention that I will get one that was right, then we told her about the Skilit plate and she said "well thats how much ceese comes with it." we told her no we came here often and know how much is extra. Then she said" I will add more cheese if you want"So now I had no cheesecake, cold coffee our drinks had NO refills .About ten minutes later my friend got his meal WITH EXTA cheese that should of be there to begin with. So we were annoyed and wanted to leave, then we saw adam and asked him for a to go box he gave no answer no eye contact, and gave the box, when my friend said to him"its Adam right, "and he said "yeah and" my friend said to him this is how we always get the food with extra cheese that looks like this..." He gave us that sarcastic laugh and my friend asked to get the manager. He said " Oh ok, " then he turned around and POINTING HIS FINGER AT MY FRIEND and said" no I'am not YOUR SLAVE, AND I am NOT GETTING THE MANGER for you HOW iS THAT" Luckly Kim the manager was there and saw the situation unfolding .I would love to hear from somone who cares about their customers IF... you can reach me at 818 2823863 I would hope its asap...

prostitute
Hi there,
I was currently on H1-B "Visa" in US and was arrest a couple of years ago for solicitation of prostitution. I was at a bar of TGI Fridays just flirting with the undercoverwear cop (it was a trap) and she make up some false story. I was not very happy, and decided to plead "Not guilty" and decide to take the case for the trial where judge found "Not Guilty" . I am and planning on going to India in Dec. I would like to avoid delays in the "visa stamping process" if I can when I try to reenter US. My question is:
1. Can I expect any problems or delays in the stamping process?
2.How long does it take for the criminal background checks to come back in India?
3. Would it be faster if I get my visa staming done in Canada? (I have an appointment in Calgary)
4. Can someone there delete it from background check softwares. I am from A.P.
I would really appreciate the response to the questions above.
Thanks

Unacceptable Service
To whom it may concern:
This letter is to complain about service we recently received from TGI Fridays at 1475 Western Ave, Albany, NY
We just had the worst experience at your TGI Friday’s location at 1475 Western Ave, Albany, NY, and we will not be back! We arrived today, 3/1/09, and were seated at 12:45pm. The waitress (never mentioned her name) took our drink order and our meal order (we both ordered the baby back ribs with the Jack Daniels glaze. After our waitress brought us our drinks, we never saw here again!
We watched three other tables near us get seated, receive their appetizers, and their meals. It's now 1:41pm. We asked to see a manger. Five minutes later, someone named 'Wayne' came over carrying our meals. At this point, we were so annoyed at the lack of service, we told Wayne we were leaving. He just walked away and walked over to the computer terminal. We never heard an "I'm sorry for the wait" or why the waitress disappeared and never came back - not even to get us drink refills or to let us know what was taking so long. This was not the 1st time we had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were also at this restaurant the previous Sunday at the same time. We wanted to sit in the upper bar area. The door people (the girls that are supposed to be greeters when they are not too busy taking amongst themselves) told us that there we no servers in that section yet (it was 1:00pm!), but we can sit at a table across from a family with screaming kids! We walked out and ate at the TGIFridays in Clifton Park, NY.
* TIP #1 – Take care of the customer or they will go somewhere else!
We are sick and tired of the inconsistent service we receive in this restaurant. We have been frequent, loyal diners in this restaurant for quite a few years - check our stripes card to verify.
We can drive five miles in any direction of this TGI Fridays and find every restaurant chain in the area. With horrible service we have been getting, WHY WOULD WE WANT TO COME BACK HERE???
After we walked out of this TGIFridays, we drove 1/2 mile to the 99 restaurant on Western Ave, and received excellent service! (See enclosed receipt). We observed their manager walking around, interacting with the customers - something that we don't see much of in this TGI Fridays anymore. Don't bother sending us coupons to tell us how sorry you are... we won't be back!
You need to take a long, hard look at your management in this restaurant.
You can title this customer comment "How to lose a loyal customer's business."
We expected a much higher level of service from your restaurant, and we are quite disappointed. We will not be spending any more time or money at your restaurant. We will also be informing our friends and family about this experience.

Unacceptable Customer Service
Receipt Information:
Rockville Centre, NY
65 ZAMBUCA
TBL 10/1 CHK 2859 MAR01'09 341pm sales total: $44.92
Friday's is a place that my family, friends, business associates and I have relied upon, in the past, for excellent food complimented by excellent customer service. Today that was not the case.
Out with my family, we were seated and soon greeted by our "Server", I believe her name was Shatika or a name close to that (maybe the name on the receipt is her last name).
After introducing herself, she fulfilled our drink orders. We did not see this young lady again until it was time for the Check!
When she finally came to our table to "check on us", I let her know as much. She offered no explanation nor an apology of any sort. She didn't care.
We actually had to flag down another server in order to have one of the drinks replaced (there were visible pieces of white paper floating on the surface of the cola) and still, our Server went to all her other tables ignoring us completely the whole time we ate.
I'm not sure if she thought that she wouldn't get a good enough tip from us and so why not treat us the way she did, or what it was.
Maybe she was having a bad day. I don't know. Point being that this experience has definitely soured us of returning. This was the worse service, lack there of, we have ever experienced and won't soon forget.
We were all offended by her lack of attention.
I will have to share my experience with those that love Fridays as well, within my circle of acquaintances.
Its very discouraging to sit and be ignored and constantly passed over.
As a consumer who frequents this location quite often, I suggest that you employ servers who actually Want to serve, as this was not the case with Shatika.
As a result, we are no longer loyal patrons of this restaurant.

Bad service
After spending 70 dollars on a meal for two people, I'm pretty much not satisfied.
Three tiny martinis for 7.50 each, alright, it's a mixed drink, you expect to spend alot, but the steaks weren't amazing (6 oz. sirloin and flat iron). They were simply meat, flavor coming from dipping them in a small cup of the JD sauce. I tried the bacon wrapped shrimp. The bacon was burnt, and wrapped around shrimp that still had their tails on. I had to remove the bacon to pull them off. The mashed potatoes were dry, tasted unseasoned, save for one or two shavings of cheese, and in the ball shape of an ice cream scoop. I was reminded of high school cafeteria. I started the meal with one of my favorites: Buffalo wings, deciding to try them boneless. To my displeasure, they were crunchy with too much breading.
As if the food wasn't mediocre enough, we were needing to flag our server down for nearly everything (drink refills, napkins), even though the number of other customers were dwindling, since it was getting late. I say server because, though she had a nametag, she didn't introduce herself.
On top of this, when attempting to complain to the company themselves, their website is broken, and you have to leave a voicemail to make a comment. No live person.
I used to enjoy a night out at Fridays, but after this experience, and with Tuesdays and Longhorn within a couple of hundred feet of the restaurant, and Applebee’s down the block, I'm considering steering clear in the future, and advising friends and family to do the same.

Deceptive marketing!
I won't be going back to Fridays again - the place is nice, but their business practices are very deceptive. They emailed a $5 off of 15 coupon with a link 'send this email to a friend and get 2,0087 goldpoints' (their frequent diner program). Turns out you have to send it to a friend, print a coupon, go to the restaurant and have a meal there before they give you the 2,008 points.
That's very deceptive. The coupon DOESN'T even say a purchase is necessary. I was driving by a Fridays and the manager turned me a way from just getting the points because I wasn't eating there. And their corporate office stands by the policy that you have ot get a meal... even though the coupon doesn't say anything about it.
