Smoothly Duped And Lied To By A Professional
On July 9th, 10th, 12th & 13th, 2010, I worked for Mr. Albert "Henry" Edie II, as a hired painter, working both in Lees Summit, Mo. and Lenexa, Ks. at two different apartment complexes doing interior work. I was first promised to be paid on the following Wednesday, July 14th. Well as you've guessed by now I have not been paid yet. Todays date is Sunday Aug. 8th, 2010. I have several e-mails from him promising (yeah right!) to pay me on various bogus dates. These e-mails came only after I went on Pissed Consumer.com and told the world what a misleading unethical business person who doesn't communicate after he'd worked a person and owed money to them. He threatened to sue me for saying bad things about his business actions, and again promised to pay me if I retracted what I wrote. Needless to say after I retracted some of the things I said, yep, you guessed it, still no pay. So I adherently advise you to be aware of the type of character he displays as a business person.. i also know that I'm not the only person who has worked for him and have been lied to and never paid. I know you're probably saying "what's that gotta do with me?" Well...my grandma used to say, " forewarned is forearmed". Information is ammunition. I don't want to see him continue to scam honest hard-working people who give him a days work and then don't get paid. Personally I think it's despicable, and shows a selfish attitude about life. Once a person starts to scam in one area of their life you better believe it'll bleed over into the other areas of their life. Today his workers, and tomorrow who knows what's next. BE AWARE OF THIS SCAMMER!!!

Refuse to pay me my wages
I worked as a painter for Albert H.(Henry) Edie II, d.b.a. That KC Painter Guy, for 30 hours at a rate of $10.00 an hour ($300.00), as a painter in Lees Summit and Overland Park From Fri.07/09/10 thru Tues. 07/13/10. He lied to me promising to pay me on Wed. 07/14/10. On the promised day, he again lied to me saying "I'll pay you tomorrow". Well tomorrow has come and gone, with today being Sat. 07/17/10, and he has not tried to communicate with me by phone, by e-mail, or in person although he has all the pertinent information on how to contact me. In fact he refuses to return calls or e-mails, let alone contact me in person, although he picked me up for work every day he needed to use me. He is not to be trusted, his word is no good and he is a lousy business person. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!
