Bankruptcy
I paid The Allied Network $840. on May 2/2010. They declared bankruptcy on July 23/2010. I was never provided the service I paid for. I want my money refunded! I have the receipt to attest to my claims. I am also in possession of the bankruptcy declaration.

Contract Scam
The Allied Network has been scamming and preying on women for far too long. They charge ridiculous fees for lousy or promised introductions with totally unqualified, unsuitable partners.
They appear to have a shortage of men in their database, so they re-cycle the men they do have by offering the same men to several women. Or, they arrange to have men contact the female client JUST to locke her into the contract, and then they say, "Well, you had your first introduction, so there are no refunds allowed." This is a SCAM.
Think about it. Would you pay a friend or associate $750 or $1, 000 just to get a name and phone number of some dude you know nothing about?
As for matching you with a compatible mate, this is a SCAM too. There is no matching. The only thing they care about is getting and keeping your money.
After charging you a ridiculous fee for a contract, some up to $12, 000, they do nothing much except pass on telephone numbers of UNqualified men. They make promises to introduce women to doctors, lawyers, and especially stockbrokers. Then, they tell you you were given a special rate because you are special.
Another scam is that they note on your contact: Special rate. Will not disclose. They swear you to secrecy- not to tell anyone how much you paid. (People would laugh at your follishness to pay so much money- for nothing.)
Do not join.
If you join, expect to be scammed and disgusted by their service.
To get a refund, you have to take them to Small Claims Court. There are many, many cases against Allied in Small Claims court.

The Allied Network is a HORRIBLE company
The Allied Network dating agency is a HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! They scammed me completely; I'm now out thousands and they gave me horrible service. The Allied Network should be out of business now that I've found all of these complaints from other upset customers; how does this company stay in business???? Disgusting behaviour from them. I was vulnerable when I went in, and it was a horrible experience right from the get go. I am disgusted that I could have been so blatantly lied to and taken advantage of. Do the people working there have no heart? The Allied Network is a terrible excuse for a matchmaking company and everyone should know this. Stay away from them; I'm going to try EHarmony because I have heard of many successes through them. My friends told me but instead I thought this company sounded great. Was I wrong!!!

The Allied Network is a SCAM; BEWARE
The Allied Network dating service is horrible scam that should be brought to light for it's predatory practices. The Allied Network took advantage of me, and I am still in shock about how they could be so disgusting. I am an ordinary person, and I guess I wasn't thinking clearly, I've had a touch of desperation after my wife died of cancer. After over a year I've been hurting still but I've also been scared I'd never meet anyone else with my children and all, and how do you meet someone at this age? I just don't know how I suppose, but I'll have to learn. I guess I'm not the best looking man, but I'm not too bad looking either, lol. I think I do have alot to offer. I'm pretty quiet, but I'm a good person I treat people very well, and I've done alright in my life. It wasn't easy to go to a dating service but they made themselves sound so good and helpful and I thought I could really use the help. What a bad company this company turned out to be. I still can't believe the service I've been getting, it's been terrible. I have to call them because they don't call me. Every time I call there it sounds like a party going on, not like a business, and noone is ever available to talk to me I'm always told that they're on another call. Then noone ever calls me back. Every single time I have been given a new and different name as the new person that I should be speaking with; every single time. They're giving me the run around. I've never in my life experienced bad service to this degree, and I've been around for many years.
I had a first date from them who was quite the exact opposite of what they said she was - I actually could't believe how different she was from the description I got! This woman was very very religious, and I'm not at all a religious man which I told them clearly; she said to me that she thinks engineers are boring and I'm an engineer, she had told The Allied Network many many times that she's looking for someone who's adventurous, and I specifically told them that I'm not the adventurous type at all. I think they put names in a hat and pulled them out, that's how much it seemed like they paid attention to what both of us told them. For the money I paid, and for what their ads say and what that woman sold me, this is just terrible. It's just not right to do this to people. It's just not right. After that first attempt if you can call it that, at a set up from them, they dropped off the map. I haven't been able to speak to anyone and I'm tired of trying. I shouldn't have to call them! They should be calling me!
Because they were so off with the first set up I tried to go in to meet with the saleswoman I met with at first again, and they refused to meet with me again. I could never get the woman again on the telephone. So I went back to the building and they wouldn't let me in!! The door was locked and a woman talked to me from an intercom, and she just wouldn't let me in. I was furious. The building looks so upscale, they appear so professional, but it's obviously all a front. I guess that's what these types of company's do; try to appear a certain way just to fool people. It's quite disgusting really I have to say.
In retrospect I should have investigated more before going to the company, but at that point in time I just never thought that a company in this line of work would be so dishonest. I guess I had more faith in human nature, I've never had this kind of experience before. After all of this with this particular company I now definitely know how low people will actually go for the buck.
I'm looking into a lawsuit nowbecause I've learned that they have a long list with the BBB, and they just shouldn't get away with this, they shouldn't get away with doing this to people, and they shouldn't get away with so much of my money. It might have been worth it had it been what they told me as a dating service for me, but with what I've experienced, it's a plain crime what they've done with my money.
BEWARE OF THE ALLIED NETWORK!!!

The Allied Network is a SCAM
The Allied NEtwork is a scum sucking, money grubbing, lying cheating company. My friends father who is a widow and older, went to the Allied Network for dating because he didn't know how to meet someone else after his wife died. Without telling anyone because he was embarassed. They bilked the poor man for $5000, and he had to call them to beg them for a date after this; they kept using stalling tactics, and said there was no one for him after when he went in they promised him a ton of women his age who would date him. The Allied Network is a pathetic company and there are a ton of complaints from other burned people online. The Allied Network sucks.

The Allied Network Complaint
The Allied Network is NOT a Christian dating service; I told them that I wanted someone who is a practicing Christian as they advertised themselves and then when it came to the service, none of the men they introduced me to were anywhere near practicing Christians. I had to add this to the truth of their service, again, the Allied NEtwork seems like a terrible scam and they should be ashamed of themselves.

The Allied Network Complaint A Dating Fraud
My friend and I went to The Allied Network for dating and matchmaking help and were sold a fraudulent service and contract. They smooth talk you and then the Allied Network contract is full of loopholes so they can say, sorry, that 'date' (that is nothing like they described or promised you) counts. Don't complain that you didn't get what you paid for and what we sold you, your loss.
They don't seem to care at all; they just wanted to legally and technically stick to their contract in keeping my money - I was literally yelled at by their unprofessional manager and staff, told that I was too old; this is great customer service? What I and my friend say about them after our experience...fraud, manipulative marketing and sales, to get people roped into their service based on image and nothing else...taking high fees for a service that is completely unprofessional and pathetic.
They should be out of business, and fast.

No complaint so far
Allied Network – The service so far
I am a new member at The Allied Network. A friend of mine met his wife there about 10 years ago and he has 3 kids now. I’ve only had 2 dates so far. The first was nice but didn’t go anywhere. I’ve been dating the second woman they introduced me to for 2 months and so far things are going well. It’s very early on but she just might be the one for me. We’ll see how it goes.

The Allied Network A Fraud BEWARE
This company is a fraud!!! They lied straight to me and I've finally admitted to myself that I was scammed. I can't believe it; they lied and took my money and my time and my hope. I won't let them get away with this. Companies should do what they say they will do.
I see their advantage because they're dishonest - because it's people and relationships they're dealing in, they can probably get away with alot more. But why????? They should be more careful with people and relationships because we have feelings and shouldn't be taken advantage of. No wonder so many people are on here complaining, and talking about lawsuits. I'm definitely going to look into the legalities of everything, because even if not for me, this company should be out of business so they don't hurt other people out there.

The Allied Network scam complaint
I can't believe the audacity of this company. After reading all of the complaints, and now I know for certain that I was scammed. I kept hoping that things would improve, because they kept telling me that things would. But it's been over a year now. $6000 later, and only one date. I'm going to look into a lawsuit now. I won't stand for this.
It's so hard to believe that that nice woman lied to me. I wanted so badly to believe that they could help me because I didn't know how to meet people at my age to date. I lost my husband just over a year ago, and I was feeling so alone. I was scared to join with a dating company but I wanted help and didn't want to live the rest of my life alone. How could they do this to people?
They should be ashamed of themselves. I'm going to try to get my money back. What a waste of money, and the worst is now I feel like I've wasted a year of my life, and all of the wasted time and hope, and a whole year of waiting and waiting and waiting.
I'm not getting any younger, and this makes me so mad. What a terrible company this Allied Network is. How do they stay in business with so many people complaining? I'd love to know.
