Worst internet company!
Worst customer service ever. I never received my order and was not notified that I would not be receiving my order. I ordered a camcorder on 11/27. The camera was supposed to come in within a week. It wasn't until 12/10 that they called to confirm my order. They hadn't even processed the order. Then we wait another week and I call on 12/18 to find out where our camera was. The rude customer service agent told me they were backordered. I asked her why I wasn't informed of this when the gentleman called to confirm the order. She told me, "he should have." We go on vacation without a camcorder and I called today 1/15 and again the very rude customer service agent told me they were not getting the camcorders in. I asked why I wasn't called and she said, "well - they should have sent you an e-mail." They did not send me an e-mail and I would never have known if I had not called. Then she asked me, "do you want to cancel the order?" I told her that was a crazy question, the camcorders where not coming in --isn't it that The Camera Professionals are canceling the order because you can't deliver? She asked again if I wanted to cancel the order, to which I replied, "Your question doesn't make sense. I still want the camcorder for the price you quoted me, but you can't deliver." She got frustrated with my challenge and said, "Fine, your cancellation number is XXXX" and hung up.
Stay away!

Deceptive company!
SCAM Artists for sure. Site says all items are new and have a full warranty. NOT TRUE! Camera finally showed up after almost three weeks and is NOT NEW, not in Kodak pkgng. & has NO warranty card to submit. Return address on pkg. is not even the company name I ordered from. They require a call to "confirm" order but they confirmed nothing about my identity or the authenticity of the order just tried to sell me a longer battery and memory card. Salesman was rude after I declined. They never answered emails regarding order status & a few times when I called during posted business hours the recording said they were closed. When I asked to cancel order I was told it already shipped but they couldn't provide a tracking #. I could have purchased a refurbished camera on my own for less money if I had wanted refurbished but I didn't & didn't get the brand new with warranty camera I paid for. AVOID THE CAMERA PROFESSIONALS!!

False Advertising/ Bait and Switch
Ordered a camcorder over the Internet from this "company." I received an email that said I had to call to confirm the order. When I did, they immediately asked me if I had ordered a "package" (one of their overpriced bags, batteries, etc.). I told them I didn't need those items and they said that what I had ordered was not in-stock and would take 3-4 weeks. I asked them if they could guaranteee that, because I was beginning to feel that this was a scam. The "employee" said, "No, of course not!" - as though I was insane. I canceled my order. And now, I'm left wondering what these hoodlums will do with my credit card number.

The hoaxsters change names and falsify "ratings" records. Don't buy electronics from any unknown company in NJ. There is a network of these criminals operating there. I hope this information will help someone else.

SCAM ARTISTS
After ordering a camera from them and being told it would ship within a week, then after checking in, being told that it was now backordered and wouldn't ship for 2 more weeks, I decided to do some research and came across all of these other reviews. I decided to call them again, but pretending I was interested in purchasing the item that I had already ordered. I was told it was in stock and would ship in the next 24 hours. Then I asked them why if I had already ordered it that I was just told that it was backordered for two weeks. The rude man tried to backpedal and said he was referring to another package. I asked if they had a retail store and he said no. Then I asked where they were located and he said New York. I said, ahh, so you guys are a scam then, right? He laughed and hung up on me. These guys are complete scam artists!!

Terrible service!
As others have mentioned, when you place the order, they send you an e-mail telling you to call and verify your card information. I got another e-mail 2 hours later stating they needed the three digit code on the back of my card, which was not indicated on the order screen. I was weary about e-mailing back the code, so decided to call. The person I spoke with was rude and seemed like he didn't want to be bothered and immediately transferred me to another person, which I stayed on hold for at least 10 min. before hanging up. Since I could not get in touch with them, I decided to cancel my order and sent them an e-mail indicating to do so. Two hours after I sent an e-mail to cancel the order, a response was given to my e-mail. It merely said, "F_ _ _!!" In all capital letters. What kind of service is this and why is this company allowed to stay in business? I WOULD NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!!

Bad service!
This company is shady. My husband and I ordered a video projector from them and they proved themselves to be a terrible company. We did a lot of research on projectors and settled on an NEC that I used to use at work. After ordering online, I called to confirm my order and was told that a bulb for the projector would be an additional $300.00. When I pointed out that the bulb comes standard with this machine and that it didn’t say the bulb was not included on the website. I was snottily told that the website didn’t say the bulb was included either.
This means either they are trying to sell a refurbished machine and pass it off as new, or they are upping the manufacture’s price by $200.00 through a slight discount on the projector and then the non-inclusion of the bulb.
The customer service staff is rude and says things like "don't waste my time” and when I asked for a manager to cancel my order I was told that the man I was speaking to was a manager and his name was Tommy, he told me his last name was Tommy too. So Tommy Tommy was there customer service manager? I doubt it. I called back and was told that Jonathon, the manager was out sick. Which after reading many other online issues I don’t believe that either.
I did get my order canceled, but I believe that they were trying to sell me a bad product and have a terrifying customer service staff to support it.

Horrible Company
You pay for what you get. Don't expect good customer service from this company. They sent em the right main product, but I ordered some addtional batteries and recieved on that was not the brand I was expecting and the other still has not commed yet. I have called several times to find out where the other battery is and I have been told it is on back order a few times, and the other times i have been left on hold for so long that I had to hang up. When you finally do get someone they are not professional at all. In fact they are very rude. They make me feel like I have interupted thier day by calling. Plus every time I get someone they are more concerned about selling something else, then solving my problem. Just don't even bother with this company, the savings is not that worth the hassel.

I agree w/ other, they are dishonest, unprofessional and probably a scam. I ordered a camer, in minutes had an email asking to call and confirm billing info. Red flag. Called, they asked for order #, put on hold they disconnected after about 7 min. Called back, did not ask for order #, hold, disconnect again. Started searching web and found this site. Called my bank, charge had not hit and I could not contest until it did. Called them a 3rd time, told them I cant to cancel an order, started to put me on hold, I told them I had called twice, and had researched and had called my bank and wanted it cancelled immediately. He said I was rude and "you figure it out yourself" and hung up. I called back and got yet a different person. Told them I had ordered and given wrong cc#. He asked my order #, put on hold. Came back and asked for security # from card. Told him I used wrong card. He confirmed address and asked for the new#. I gave him a make believe # and security code. No idea how it will turn out. I'll keep you posted.

Bad advertising and deceptive practice!
Deceptive advertised priced for Sony Camcorder DCR-SR82. After placing order, an email asked for billing address confirmation. When called up, the salesperson says do you know your order only includes the camcorder body and nothing else (not even battery, cables, remote, etc.). The person told me I would need to order a package including all that.
The website does not disclose the content of the order and they use this scam to get customers to pay more. After that I canceled my order, and made 2 more calls to get their postal address to mention my intention to file a complaint about them. Its amazing to see so many other complaints of this type that others experienced.
Stay away from this company unless they disclose everything in writing. Seems to be their usual scam practice.

customer relations
I didn't see any bad complaints about this company until after I ordered my Fuji camera, which was 2 days after I ordered. When I called to cancel my order, I was surprised to see that it had already been shipped. And I received it a few days later and everything with the camera is fine. So although there are many complaints about this company screwing you out of batteries or lenses, etc, for one customer the company worked great to get the quality camera at a low price to the customer. My only complaint is the quality of customer service. They aren't the nicest people in the world. But if you want a good deal, go there. Just be prepared to put up with their attitude and lack of communicating when your item is shipped, tracking number, etc.
