Their Method of Business
The method they use, after you order on line, is to send you a order confirmation email with instructions to call them on the phone to verify the credit card you used. If you don't call within 6 business days your order will be delayed(?).
When you do call them the "salesperson" on the other end is selling, of course, extended warrenty, camera parts that you "have to have or the camera is of little use", etc.
After you pry the salesperson off of your phone, you feel like you are in limbo. You have a real strong feeling you have just been ripped off. They manage to get the money from your account quickly.
They do not return email after requesting information about shipment of your camera.
I suggest dealing with only big name reputable companies. $10 off is not woth this hassle.
I am still waiting on word about my camera delivery.

Rude & Unprofessional Sales People
I had called to receive some information concerning my order. The sales rep was attempting to bait / switch me with another product. He also proceed to swear at me because of my lack of knowledge concerning the camera that I purchasing. I would NOT recommend these people for any purchases. Very unprofessional!

scam
Ordered a camcorder and was scammed into also ordering a rechargeable battery of double capacity (2 hr) that simailar to the standard battery would fit into the camcorder body. I only got the camcorder but not the battery but was charged for the expensive battery. Have since found out that such a batery do not exist. Requested money back for non-delivered phantom batery but was denied. Went to Better Business Burea with complaint. They did not receive a response form The Camera Professionals. I have seen many similar reports about them and will ADVICE ANYBODY NOT TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. The company sholud have been closed down legally a long time ago.

Unethical sales
Ordered a camcorder and had to call in 48 hours to verify credit card approval. When finally spoke with someone they asked if I wanted a battery of 2 hours or 4 hours. When I asked what came with the camera I was told none. I asked how can you sell a camera without a battery, I was told that is why it was so cheap. I told them I would order a two hour battery, but would report the transaction to the BBB, I was then told they would not sell me the camera!

Possible fraud scheme?
As some other unfortunate "sap" found out... This company will not return your call, or email! Period. Oh, by the way, they have a 7 day return policy. Fine. Problem is, they won't answer the phone! Then you have to leave a message, only to NOT have it returned. Oh, and when they do return your call (during the third MONTH, actually!) they tell you it's too late. The 7 days are past! Are you kidding me?!!!! AAAArrrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!!
If that wasn't enough, then there's this: The Canon 5D camera seemed to be a "repak". It was supposed to be a new camera. I have purchased other Canon products (and I love Canon products) and they were packaged much better than this (the most expensive Canon product I've purchased to date). Adding insult to injury, the camera was broken right out of the box. The morons sent me the wrong batteries for this camera. I opened one of them before I realized this. Now they won't replace it because I opened it! Am I surprised? What do you think?
Thinking of purchasing anything from this company? Take my advice: Send your money to charity instead. At least you'll feel good about parting with your thousands of dollars, and you won't lose sleep over having to deal with the worst customer service on the planet! (if not unethical).

Not professional company!
This company will not return an email or telephone call. I purchases a Nikon camera and a special deal with this company. The soft camera case does not fit the camera. The case is a video camera case. My D200 is too wide to fit in the bag. Also nothing else will fit in this bag. Next was the hard case. Small and cheaply built. I can get the camera and a lenses in it only after disassembling the lens from the camera. Next was the tripod... 52" tripod. My fault. I should have realized it was for a kid. Then comes the lenses. I was lead to believe I was getting Nikon lens with this package deal. Instead I got Tamaron lenses. They do the job but I was told I would be getting the Nikon lenses. On these lenses the mount on one is plastic and the other is metal. I was told they were both metal mounts. Anyway what a great salesperson. Got me good. I would recommend this camera to most anyone but buy it from a reliable and honest source. Not The Camera Professionals.
