I bought a tractor last august, a farmall 806.
I was told it was a good tractor and that it was well maintained. I was charged the highest end value and agreed. (being told it was a great tractor with no problems)
Later i drove it home (roughly 8 miles) and used 6 quarts of oil getting it back. i saw no smoke coming from the tractor the whole time.
I dicovered that low ash oil had been put in the tractor, so it wouldnt smoke when the oil was burning.
Over the next few weeks oil leaks started appearing all over the engine, but the worst thing that has happened is that i cant even get the tractor in reverse now, theres many products available to make this stop for a short period (which were surley used)
the salesman told me everything is in great shape and that its a good tractor, so overall, i was lied to and bought a piece of junk wich i paid way too much for
