On February 27, 2011, I went into a local shop and contracted to purchase T shirts printed with my business name.
I gave George Bassil (of the Custom Monogram Shoppe) my business Citibank MasterCard debit card to put down the requested 350.00$ which was the 50% deposit he required.
On that date, ( February 27, 2011) Mr. Bassil stated once the artwork was approved by myself, he would move forward and order the Tshirts and 2 jackets we had contracted to have screen printed and embroidered.
The artwork that was presented to me via email on March 2, 2011 and was not approved by myself or my partner.
On March 3, 2011, I told Mr. Bassil via email that the artwork was unapproved.
On that date, (March 3, 2011) communications were ceased as Mr. Bassil refused to consider changing the artwork in order to continue with the contract or refund my money.
Mr. Bassil has not, as of this date, April 4, 2011, not produced Tshirts, logo or jackets as stipulated in the contract.
On March 5, 2011 I filed a dispute with Citibank Card services, the amount of 350.00 was provisionally credited back to my account.
On March 9, 2011 Mr. Bassil emailed and also called me saying he has decided to refund my money.
On March 10, 2011 I called his place of business to make arrangements to accept his offer and receive my refund.
He has never returned my calls, and has subsequently kept my entire 350.00$ deposit and has never produced the product I contracted to purchase from him.
This merchant has kept 350.00$ of my money and has not given me any goods or services in return.
