There I was enjoying my Christmas Eve, when my nephew comes to our family gathering ill. Little did I know that would be the beginning of the flu epidemic in my family. A few days later I developed a horrible sore throat, and just felt achy and run down. I figured I was getting a cold. I noticed the following day, that my throat hurt worse than the day before, and was traveling further down my throat. By the third day, I had a horrible flu, two days I had aches all over my body, couldn't speak, had a horrible sore throat, and a high fever. Once, I was well, soon my children were exhibiting the same symptoms I was, and became ill as well. Now my fiance also has the symptoms... We all now have colds, thanks to this evil flu bug... I had the flu bug, and still got the flu! The flu is an evil pesky germ, and I wish it never got into our family! My kids last week off for their winter break was spent at home ill, instead of doing fun stuff with family and friends. If I had a gun, I would shoot the flu bug myself! It is awful feeling horrible, and watching your family suffer... Stupid flu!
