Online Fraud & Unauthorized removal of funds from my Bank Account
I signed up at a Web Site called The Grant University for $1.98. I then noticed that there was also $69.00 that was taken from my bank account. This was an unauthorized transaction because if I would have know about the $69.00, I would not have signed up. When I went back to the Web Site for The Grant University, I could not access the site and they wanted another $1.98.

I also ordered a CD that claimed to cost $1.98, and they charged me $60. Then when the CD arrived, and i tried to use it, the e-mail link that it sends me to will not let me register the the user name and password that I created. I have been calling for four days, and every time all I can get in touch with are representatives who do not speak English well, telling me that there is no record of my account. Every time, I also get the name of yet another supervisor who does not seem to exist. DO NOT give these people your credit card information. This is the biggest scam!!

I ordered their cd at $1.98. I did not know that after 7 days my checking account would be billed for $69.98. I've tried calling the # on the cd but all I get is a recording for me to leave a message. What should I do to get my money back and to stop them from getting more?

fraud
Site promised a 7 day trial for $1.98. CD received and bogus. No sites are current. Received an additional charge of $69.00 which they never said anything about. They are taking my money!

On line grant ripoff
Told me that I could find information about grants for $1.98 and have been charged multiple charges totaling over $90.00 dollars causing my bank checking account several hundered of dollars due to insufficient funds. They tell you that you have a seven day free trial but don't explain from the date your signed up not the day you receive the disk. I received the disk this past Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in the mail and today October 8, 2008 they are charging my bank account. I tried contacting their office but no answer a recorder comes on and says that they are busy with other customers to please leave a name and number and they will contact you back. Ya right! The website they tell you to log onto to cancel is bogus it only tells you about the cancellation process and it takes you back to circles. If anyone can help prosecute can you please contact me. Also, do you know if I can get my money back.
