I paid $1.98 by credit card for a CD which I never received and one week later my credit card was charged an additional 69.95 UNAUTHORIZED by me from the merchant. Tried to reach company by phone no answer at all.

I found a advert for a free Cd on getting government grants for only the postage of $1.95. I ordered the cd received it on 10-06-08. However on 10-03-08 my bank account was charged a fee of $69.95 I was never advised of this charge nor did I authorize this charge. I have now received 2 separate charges of $1.00 each they were both taken out of my account on 10-06-08 one was from Easy Saver the other Was American leisure. What was this for? The cd has no information that you can use. It is a totla useless item.

I have now received a charge for $29.95 from IWB Club this one is also a mystery. Add it up a total of $103.85 that has been scammed out of my bank account. I have reported them to the CC, BBB in my area.

I have also received about 30 phone calls on my cell phone from companies that they have bought the phone number from The Grant University. CNN reported that this was a reliable company for getting grant info, I guess not you can't believe anybody or anything. I guess I learned my lesson. Hope I can get some of my money but back in my account.

The Grant University is using deceptive techniques. The Grant University sent me a worthless CD for $1.98 (for shipping) to cover the cost for this 'free CD'. A few days later after ordering the 'free CD' I was charged an additional $69.95 which was not authorized. The charge was made to my bank account on 10/17/2008.

I have emailed The Grant University for a refund of my $69.95. I did not knowing join a membership club.

I have been scammed. After reading these complaints, I realized that this is the same thing everyone is filing the complaints about. I thought I was getting a CD that would help me to get government grants for financial funding for college. Well, all I got was charged $1.98 shipping, then $69.95 for services I had no idea what they were for, then after calling was told I would get a refund, and cancelled my account. Then, come a month later I get another $69.95 charge and no credits issued back. When I called I agrued for over an hour about this to be told no way, you're not getting your money back and that's it. I have contact my bank and am disputing the amounts, and they are investing and will refund the monies. I will never do this again without first goggling first. Wow, what a crooked world we live in.

I paid the $1.98 and they charged my card I try to cancel it because I never received the disk that was suppose to be sent out. The number I called they never answers the phone and the support@thegrantuniversity was no help at all. This was way back in July, I canceled my card in September because they kept charging me for something I couldn't cancel, after trying numerous time even e-mailing them numerous times.

I then filed the papers to get my money back and was told to cancel my credit card in order to do so it is now October and I just found out they have my new credit card information and is charging the new card after I was already credited the $69.95 from the credit card company and when I try to cancel once again it is so hard so they will keep charging me. I have canceled the card once again but don't think I want to get another one if they could get my information that easy.
